23 Lovelane is the loveliest boutique hotel, with the friendliest and most inviting staff (more like family) that you could ever encounter. They are the true soul of this hotel.

The sense of piece and tranquility from the moment you arrive is divine, making you feel straight at home.

Not to mention the beautiful rooms, and the character of the whole property.

One of the most memorable stays i've ever had!

When I research for a place to stay.
#1 is review ratings from past guest.

23Lovelane was a place I chose to stay for a special occasion this trip with my best friend and we were not disappointed.
The highlights of this destination property was #the service rendered by the Hotel Manager Ms Tina.
She went above and beyond to make it good ! Made it memorable for our party of 4.
From listening to our needs and making things happen! Such as providing for local treats vs the typical American breakfast and providing us best options recommendations for local delights.
Her choice of recommendations was spot on as well and her constant smile was welcoming each time we meet her.
She is an asset and should be treaured and groomed further.

The property had lovely rooms with super amazing cool air conditioning units which was a treat given the very hot weathers.
The room was of good size at 40 to 50sqm with full fledged amenities provided.

Overall this is a good property.

Just a few points to note, quality of breakfast and tea time could be better improved. Breakfast area should be airconditioned or covered. Too many flies hovering around and quality of cooking is really below average.
I loved the 2nd floor library area but a pity it's not air conditioned and thus was not as welcoming as the heat was too much to bear. One would not spend more than 5mins in there.

Aside from that, fantastic location in the heart of George town!

Dear Sophia, Thank you so much for staying with us and your kind compliments. We are happy to hear that you are happy with our service and our hotel. We appreciate your comments on our breakfast and the tea time. Rest assured that these details have been shared with our team to ensure we will improve on these promptly. We regret to hear that we did not attend to you at our mini library for there is an air conditioner. We apologise that our staff did not assist you further in getting to know our artsy library. We hope you have had a pleasant stay overall in celebrating your wedding anniversary with us and we will always try our best to become better. We look forward to welcoming you again. Kind regards, Tina 23LoveLane

A unique accommodation in the heart of Georgetown. This was the perfect location and within walking distance of many places of interest as well as local and western eateries.
The staff at this place go above and beyond. Staying there for a week you start to feel a part of the family. They are able to organize tours, drivers and laundry at request.
The rooms itself was spacious and around the side of the building meaning it was well hidden and the rooms; you really feel like you are staying in a authentic Malaysian mansion given the decor. Last but not least there is the resident cat "Mike" who you will undoubtedly come across for pats throughout the day. We also got breakfast during the stay and they have a local or western option. My advice go for the roti- was very yummy. All in all I would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in Georgetown and would stay there again if I return.

Very personal and warmth team.... Amir was very easy going and furnished us with every information that we asked.
Housekeeping staff upheld their honesty - we left our usual tips on the bed every morning for the housekeeping staff but they placed the money on the bed side table every day after their cleaning. We salute their integrity and honesty even though the tip was meant for them.

The place was clean and location superb.

Definitely worth every moment and $$.

This small hotel has a peacefulness that relaxes you on your travels. Set in the old town in Loves Lane at the end of the street away from the bars and restaurants that are within walking distance!
Next door is their Steak n Fries restaurant that serves melt in the mouth steak from OZ.
We enjoyed our stay and thanks to Anna and Amil

The room was very nice and large and lovely decorated.
The bed was comfortable and firm.
The hotel is beautiful especially with Christmas time decorations.
The breakfast is very good with choice between local and western style food.
The location is perfect to explore the old town. We spent 4 days around the new year's eve.

Simply the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
The decor. The calm. The staff. Everything about this place is sublime.
Despite it being very close to the hustle and bustle of Georgetown old town it’s remarkably peaceful.
So tastefully kitted out.
Steak frites do a lovely breakfast.
Amir bikrim and Thomas were the perfect hosts.

I didn’t want to leave

A very central older style boutique hotel recently modernised but with a lovely cool colonial feel. Easy walking distance to all the Georgetown sights.
Staff and service was good and everyone keen to please.
Afternoon T and a basic breakfast served.

We loved this place, carefully renovated with lots of pretty areas.
It’s very centrally locates but at the quieter end of love lane. Love lane is very noisy especially at the weekends so don’t stay here expecting piece and quiet, which does detract from this place but it out of control of the management, it’s just a lively area with a few bars. Staff are friendly and helpful, and there’s a cute cat.
