Love Indian food and really not fussed whether its North or South delights but Kapitan has the best naans in town! Its not dripping with oil nor rock hard to make it overly chewy. And the curries do not disappoint either. The vegetable claypot biriyani is a disappointment though. Couldnt find a morsel of decent vegetables!

It seems some people have confused this dump with the much nicer and more expensive, Georgetown City Hotel. There is NO pool, spa or airport pickup. I booked and paid for a 'Superior Single'. I'd hate to see a standard room, because this was a broom closet with a bathroom. I've been to Europe - I know what small rooms...

Location- Not the best one . You have to go to other lanes in order to take buses which takes you to the best attractions of Penang. I had a hard time to find this hotel in night. I came from Batu Ferringhi and bus dropped us almost 400 mtrs away but it was really difficult to find this hotel...

The first night was okay but room was dusty. The second day, all tv channels went off. Staff cleared the dust but merely said satellite tv was out of order when one satellite channel was fine.. They were merely avoiding the issue. They even offered to change my room but didn't keep to their promise. So yeah, dont bother. Just...

Just recently booked my stay at this hotel through online for a single superior room, the site shows rooms available but in actual fact when i checked in i was only given 2 separate beds and the beds are so small that one turn and you are at the other edge of the bed...relatively clean, good internet coverage, most important...

I stayed in this hotel for a night whilst in Penang. I had booked a Junior room which was too small. However the bathroom was clean n big. Service was very good, like for eg. Iron with board was provided upon request. Location was good...next to KFC and 10 mins walk from shopping malls. However I still feel that one...

“Higher floors are much more quiet. Like most hotels, it is the type of guest that gives other guest opinions if the hotel is good or bad. If there is a problem with certain guest, let the front desk know about it so that they can do something about it. This hotel has a good record in dealing with such problems.”
