We had a very pleasant stay at the Straits Heritage at Armenian street. The antique house has two suites, we stayed at the front side. We had a double bed and a small attic with two single beds, which the kids loved. The rooms were simple but clean. No others were staying, so we basically had the whole house to...

This was a stunning 3-story house, with a tiled foyer and handcrafted wooden beams/walls/ceilings throughout. There are just two apartments, one on the second and one on the third floor (the latter is a bit nicer). The location is very central, in old Georgetown. The owner greeted us upon arrival and saved us a parking space in front of the...

This so called hotel or guest house only has 2 rooms. Phoenix suite on the 3rd floor, suits a couple and Peony suite locates on the 2nd floor, caters to a family of 4 or more. Outside the Peony suite, it has a living and dining area which are open to everyone staying in the hotel. WIFI, water dispenser and...

The accommodation at Straits Heritage is wonderful. Clean, comfortable and well decorated. It's a beautiful house that is shared into 2 apartments which are both very private. We stayed in the Peony Suite which has a great view, but some very steep steps to the 2nd bedroom! The street has to be the prettiest in Penang - everyday when we...

My wife, siblings, niece stayed at the Straits Heritage Hotel from 06 to 09 Dec. We were most pleasantly surprised when we first caught sight of the hotel's entrance. It did not look like a "normal" hotel. There was no signboard on the frontage. Just intricately carved gold-plated wood board pieces which adorned the door. You would be forgiven to...

I stayed 4 nights in this beautiful heritage house. I had the entire house to myself, as there was no other guests for the 2nd room. The location is excellent to explore Georgetown on foot. The manager is available by phone if needed. I would stay again

He reserverd a parking space just in front of the hotel. Room is spacious and very cosy. Location of the hotel is good. Many restaurants and...

Staying at this beautifully restored heritage shophouse made our visit to Penang so much more special and memorable. Tee, the manager was very helpful, often going beyond what is expected, especially helping us with our elderly parents. He knows Penang really well, especially where the best hawker food can be found. Our day tour of the island with Tee turned...
