I can't really fault it.  This is a 3.5 - star hotel I believe.  Definitely towards the higher end.  From the moment I entered, I was warmly greeted.  Staff are all super friendly, nice and helpful.  They would always greet you and talk to you.  It was like a family home.  Housekeeping was done very well each day and complimentary water provided.  Small but lovely boutique hotel.  Room was nice.  Not huge but spacious.  There was a fridge, air conditioning, complimentary toiletries and more.  Comfortable.  Hotel was very clean.  I didn't eat at the hotel nor include breakfast so can't comment on food.  I had laundry done twice which was cheap and done perfectly.  You can't beat location.  I practically walked everywhere.  There are shopping malls, restaurants and the UNESCO World Heritage area on your doorstep.  Very convenient.  Hotel is secure which is important as a solo female traveller.  You can only access your room floor with your room key card.  When you arrive, you need to leave a deposit of 100 MYR but this will be given back to you when you leave provided you do not break anything, have any additional expenses or lose your room key card.  A small negative was that each time you returned to the hotel, you needed to log into the WIFI.  Normally this should connect automatically.  Other than that, highly recommend and would stay here again.

Amazing! A clear 10

• Absolutely perfect. Was definitely the best hotel we stayed in Malaysia.
• Super clean, daily room cleaning, comfortable bed/pillows, all the amenities etc.
• Location was perfect! 5 min from the bus station and 5 minutes from the center.
• MOST IMPORTANT: the staff was actually human and caring. Each interaction we had (laundry, questions etc) was perfectly taken care of, and they actually seemed to genuinely care (which is difficult to see in Malaysia)
• Would not doubt in staying again

Wonderful boutique hotel within 1-2 blocks of Prangin mall/Komtar bus station (note coach buses to KL load on the street - make sure you didn't pick the bus station far away south near the airport). Easy walk to old Georgetown, old town street art, Chew Jetty area, little India, etc. We stayed during the 2nd week of Chinese new year so easily walked over to the old Georgetown CNY celebrations (clan celebrations, etc) and had a wonderful time seeing cultural crafts for kids/adults, cultural foods, dragons, dancing, fireworks, etc. Hotel had air conditioning, elevator and a nice sky bar rooftop area for breakfast (need to order day before as they make it for you from the menu). They can can further improve the rooftop with more comfortable loungers to enjoy the view. Breakfast options included delicious curry chicken, fried chicken, english breakfast, pancakes, scrambled eggs as options. Rooms are a bit small but this is old Georgetown. Bathrooms updated but could use brighter light fixture over the mirror. Hotel is perfectly walkable 15-20 min from the ferry and a couple blocks from Komtar bus terminal or the street Jalan Rai. Easy walk to street art and night food market.

Great hotel, the room was well equipped, a good bathroom and very comfortable bed. The location is perfect for visiting the historic center area which has been declared a World Heritage Site, but I do not recommend the restaurant as it has huge prices. At the reception all very kind and extremely available. The area is not exactly beautiful but has a great location.

A unique hotel in an ordinary suburban setting. It is clean, well furnished and very comfortable. The staff are very friendly, courteous and very helpful. The room was comfortable and cool with a very good bed. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Georgetown. The chef who cooks individual breakfast is obliging and skilful and deserved a special mention.

Hey, stayed here last month for several days Location was perfect and interior design was fabulous. We had a leak in our air conditioner which was no biggie at the time til it flooded one side of the room near the bed which the receptionist on night shift was quick to rectify with another room. Our house keeper Zia took care of us and ensured our room was as comfortable as clean at all times. Also would like to mentioned Faizal from the upstairs rooftop bar who made our complimentary breakfast! Absolutely delicious and ur mix of drinks was on point 👌 The only feedback or something I had noticed on the rooftop l. So much potential to liven it up I found myself trying to entertain myself lolz but it was nice some of the staff members were able to join and keep us company. 2 thumbs up I'll definitely come back!

Located at Jalan Pintal Tali, strategic location to many eateries, Carnarvon Street, Kimberly Street and Chulia Street. Room is quite small but clean and comfy. Rated as 4 star Hotel, this hotel is actually quite small with amenities like fridge, TV, safety box, bathrobe, ironboard, hair dryer, slippers and umbrella. Staff is friendly. Limited facilities during our visit, gym room is closed, only jacuzzi available with reservation required. Stay here for 4 nights. Overall we have pleasant stay.

There have limited facilities and service at the moment due to under construction. Good location with surrounding area which near convenient shops and tourist attractions as well as near art street and Kimberly street just behind the hotel have a lot of local food at night time. The staffs are helpful to provide local attractions and foods for person who new in Penang. Appreciate Leslie for the good recommendations and service.

Excellent and helpful service from reception staff. Many thanks to manager, Joey Foo, who was specially helpful in recommending places to eat and help us in booking a reservation for dinner. Location of hotel is very close to Kimberly St night market for those keen on local Penang dishes. Short walk to Prangin Mall & 1st Avenue mall.

Rooms are minimalistic but has all the facilities required.

If breakfast is included, remember to book your choice the day before. Breakfast served on rooftop. Local dishes like curry mee, want an mee & nasi lemak available to choose from.

Bad smell, dirty carpets, dirty hot tubs, poor maintenance in general, a lot of deterioration. It is not a boutique hotel as indicated. On the terrace the bar has almost nothing. Breakfast is a specific dish to choose the day before with no choice.
