Stayed here with family. The rooms were comparatively small for a couple. Bathroom was alright. Staffs were friendly. Loved the neighbourhood. At night there are night markets and food stalls in the vicinity. That's what I loved most about my stay here.
This place is absolutely nothing fancy. It has narrow, rabbit's-warren-like corridors and next to nothing in the way of decor. But the AC will keep you cool, it is kept spotlessly clean and the hot water works. It is also conveniently located for wanders in...More
I stayed here for 3 nights and then realized I would need to stay one more night. They promised me I would get another day and since I didn't have cash on hand I could pay the next day. The following morning they woke me...More

I took a prepaid taxi from the airport. Cost depends on arrival time as there is a surcharge for late night. Taxi is somewhat expensive by Asian standards but heaps cheaper than we would pay here in Australia. Also it is a bit of a distance from the airport to Georgetown about 10 or so kilometres so probably reasonable for how far you travel. There are also buses which would be cheaper but as I didn't use them for that journey I can't really comment.
