Me and my bf arrived very early in the morning after a long drive and it was an easy checked in. Everything was satisfying and the room was clean and comfortable. I loved the bathroom design. Overall, it is worth the stay.
I can’t praise seven terraces highly enough . the manageress , Wendy , is a delight and all the staff too, she seemed worried we’d find it noisy , but it wasn’t , we could hear the traffic occasionally and just hear the bar next door which closed early, We were staying in the apartment 3 which is full of beautiful antique furniture and 3 air con units so we were very comfortable and worth the extra The hotel is wonderful , expertly and very sympathetically restored by the owner Service is excellent it’s position is perfect for exploring the old town , meaning you can walk back there regularly from all the sights We didn’t eat in the restaurant but it did look excellent , we actually like eating out , street food , and curry in little India ...Karaikudi just superb and low priced £2:00 for a main vege course You can get a superb massage at “Legacy “just a 2 minute walk down Stewart lane where it crosses love lane Their reflexology is well worth it we had a treatment every day ! Thank you for our stay and our beautiful room
This hotel is remarkably restored and has such unique character throughout - its an absolute gem of a place situated in the heart of Georgetown with easy access to all the sites. Most importantly, it's a place of calm and tranquility amongst the hustle and bustle outside!
The rooms were beautiful and we loved the lay out, large bathrooms, four poster beds and historical decor.
The facilities are excellent - the afternoon tea by the poolside from 4-5pm is a nice treat.
We also dined in the hotel restaurant and although it's considerably pricier than other restaurants nearby, it's totally worth it (and only comes out at £25 for 4 courses!) highly recommend.
Overall, this place gets top marks for excellent service - the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.
My family and I wanted to experience the Peranakan way of life at Seven Terraces and we were not disappointed. We were very well looked after and the afternoon tea by the pool was delightful. I celebrated my 70th birthday and the staff went the extra mile to look after us.
Our family of four (two teenagers) had a wonderful stay at the Seven Terraces in Georgetown. The staff were so friendly and helpful in giving us suggestions for our first time in Penang. We were able to walk or take short taxis rides and see the entire area of Georgetown from the hotel. The hotel itself is a great way to experience history -- we've traveled a lot and have never stayed at a place quite like this. We ate at the Kebaya which was delicious, and accommodating for vegetarians. We also ate at Muntri Mews which was equally amazing (same owner as the hotel).

The hotel is situated in one of Penang’s finest and most intact heritage streets which is in the very heart of the World Heritage Site …Moreand next door to the 1810 Goddess of Mercy Temple with just a few minutes walk from all the major icons.
