Great personalised service especially by Jason. Other staffs were very friendly and helpful as well. Love their cafe lounge. Very peaceful. Despite the lack of choices for breakfast menu, it was delicious and eggs were perfect! Rooms are clean and have most basic amenities.

Very nice, beautiful colonial style hotel in the center of the historic part of Georgetown. Very modern bathrooms, and the rooms are fine. The personnel is very friendly. Actually I liked it so much that I already went twice there. I really recommend

This is a beautiful hotel in a renovated old building. It is close to Penang Road and the main heritage area, in a quiet location. We were happy to walk around even at night. The staff are exceptional, they really go out of their way to make your stay special, so friendly and helpful. The rooms are not as big...

The location was misrepresented. The description states that the property is "in the heart of Georgetown." Not true. It is in an isolated location on the fringe of Georgetown, at least a 15 minute walk in a dodgy area. to get to Georgetown. There are no shops, restaurants or bars in the immediate area. it was unsettling at night and...

After reading reviews of various hotels in Penang, we chose Museum Hotel. Although I was concerned that the hotel was not in the "historic area," George Town is very compact and walkable, so the location turned out to be very good. Although the hotel could use a bit of "sprucing up," it is a beautiful old building expertly renovated. The...

I've stayed here three times in the past year, it's definitely my first choice to stay in Penang. Staff are friendly, and the rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, the breakfast is a highlight! The location is great, just close enough to the old town to walk over and at a price that can't be beat!

We stayed in the Museum Hotel for 3 nights and the service was excellent. Always someone there to open the door for you and provide assistance if required. Rooms are spacious and pretty cool: liberal use of wood and a fully functioning classic telephone. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was excellent, as is the room that it is...

My favourite holes in Penang. Nice big rooms. There is a triple share with two wc and two showers. Central situation 5 mins from Penang Road. Good breakfast inclusive of room rate which is reasonable. Good ambience with select antique pieces.

Had a great stay here. The staff were so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We booked for two and had a huge, double storey room which was great and very clean. Would definitely stay here in the future!
