During the MCO, tried their Fish and Chips, part of their Takeaway Deals. For RM15 per set, it was a bang for the bucks! Crispy fish, golden fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce were delicious! Portion was satisfactory!
The hotel is one of Penang's earliest brand, but I must say it is well managed. Stayed for a night but the rooms are big and clean. The area is near the local restos, pubs and spas. The service is excellent and the breakfast is sumptuous. Two thumbs up!
the hotel is located at Georgetown offering nice city view and also the first penang bridge from it's huge glass window. eventhou the mattress is not too my liking, the room is spacious and clean with the usual hotel amenities and the aircond work really well
My credit goes to all hotel staff as they are friendly and helpful, hotel is clean, breakfast is ok but can be improved (more variety), family room is spacious and value for money, love the jacuzzi, strategic location where eateries, malls and tourists attractions are nearby.
Location was central to all the best attractions in George Town. I had the options of either walking or driving - the former being a great choice considering the holiday peak! Also, there were initial issues with facilities (e.g. alarm clock, bulb, switch) but the maintenance staff were quick to rectify it with such professionalism and politeness. The hotel may have been from the 90s, but their upgrade works (some still in progress) are great in keeping up with modern times!
