Booking and fully paid for a bunk bed room, when checking in room staff just keep quiet, and got a shock its totally not what i paid for so went to reception to check, lousy explanation by staff until hotel manager step in, his explanation was it was agoda didn't publish correct photos of the room nothing to do with his hotel, finally changed a room for us but it was dirty and dusty, as kids were tired and time wasted we just proceed to rest. Will not definitely return to this hotel, not recommended.

Stayed there for a limited time. Good value for money. Was given coupons for the massage parlor but seldom used it. Easy access from jetty and walkable distance to indian restaurants. Overall value for money

Highly recommended, excellent location. Walking distance to many popular sights and eating establishments. Rooms are large and clean, staff are friendly. Comfortable bed. Penang white coffee and toothbrush-toothpaste packet provided daily. Will hear call-to-prayers and prayers early in the morning due to proximity to mosques. Parking may be an issue. Communal phone, iron and ironing board. Room had safe and fridge.

Nothing exceptional with this hotel and a far cry from my usual hotel in Georgetown (Royal Chulan). Room was adequate but had only a communal phone on each floor which can be noisy if used by anyone. No pool or breakfast options. Location is a plus for the area as it’s close to Prangim Mall and the heritage areas around. I used Grab cars to get around as it’s so cheap and easily available. Hotel recommended the independent massage facility on the 2nd floor but it was awful. Masseuse kept either talking to her colleague in the next room or on the phone (I prefer both hands being used thanks). Overall not really impressed and I’ll try another place next time as my preferred hotel seems to be quite expensive now.

- parking very limited and not helping at all - access card to the room only can have 1. When we ask for another one they said we run out of the access card (the most stupid answer ever). - the DB in the room is broken. Every time we take out the access card from the card slot, the DB will switch off. So, we need to call the reception to send the maintenance to switch on back (very very not inconvenience). - the most funny thing is, is the bed sheet (please refer the photo attached). - please avoid this hotel as there is a lot more option and more nicer surrounded this area. - the receptionist lady wearing optical a bit rude and not helping at all! - I think the owner is Indian so they run the business like an Indian style.
