Beautifully restored Chinese mansion in the heart of LIttle India. The hosts were great and gave us wonderful advice on where to find great dining. Rooms were quiet and comfortable with excellent airconditioning (very important!) Lovely oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Would happily come here again.

The Mansion is wonderful. Full of history and character, while well preserved. The service was great, super attentive and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and diverse, accommodating our taste and the kids preferences. Super well located, with walking distance to key temples and attractions. Highly recommend it and no doubt would repeat our stay.

We had an amazing stay at this lovely boutique hotel. Great service from friendly staffs; Ai Tee knows where to find the best Laksa and coffee, Joanne explained the building history and why the water feature is in the courtyard, very interesting indeed! Thanks to Shohidul delivered the usb chargers late at night. Love those little treats left on bed at turn down service. Beds are super comfy, room is huge and well decorated (Anistar 1). We bought our breakfast from outside to have it in the dining room, felt just like home! I will definitely stay here again when I visit Penang. Highly recommend!

Very good location and spacious comfortable lodgings. Local delicacies served in the afternoon. Both Ai Tee and Kanmani went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. You even get local snacks for the daily turndown service. Delightful experience.

If you like history, then you will love the place. A well maintained historical buildings that will catch you eye. Everything is good except the artworks at the bed head which I feel not suitable to hang inside the room.

This hotel is in a great location - many places to eat and near one of the free Penang CAT bus stops. We arrived in the evening and were greeted by one of their very friendly staff. Walking through the magical courtyards and greenery, it feels like you’re transported back in time. We were pleasantly surprised to be offered complimentary afternoon tea every day during our stay. The hotel is super clean and the turn-down service at night meant that we were left a little gift on the bed every evening after returning from dinner. Can’t fault this hotel, other than the fact it’s an old building so guests should be mindful of making too much noise. But with the small number of rooms, we had no problems with that. The staff are really a credit as well, so friendly and quick to help with anything we needed. We will always stay here when we visit Penang, and you will be glad to do the same! …

The decor of this historic mansion is intriguing and simultaneously delightfully restful. There are multiple areas to sit and contemplate, rest, read or relax. Although items of furniture and decor are historic, everything is kept immaculately clean. The staff are SO considerate and kind and thoughtful. The breakfast was amazing and brought to your own table by the staff. I felt SO personally cared for, it was a really delightful experience.

Impeccably renovated historical mansion with beautiful, large, airy rooms. Perfect central location. Lots of great eats around. But what really made our stay were the staff. AiTee, Joanne and Kanmani were all wonderful. The whatsapp communications before our stay were excellent. And the enthusiastic and friendly advice (especially about street food - the reason for our visit!) was really what made our trip. Thanks!
