located near to batu feringghi beach. Old hotel but everything still working in good condition. private parking. fast check in and check out. no variety food during breakfast. the deluxe room spacious and clean. private balcony with seaview. Well the good news is the new manager has arrived and the renovations have started. All the public areas have been painted and refurbished and the room I was given was freshly painted with brand new furniture and fittings. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. From the balcony of my room I could look up the coast and out to sea. There's still a terrific food court every night just over the road. Breakfast isn't the enormous buffet that the five star hotels have but you can put together a cooked breakfast, toast, pastries and, of course, an Asian style breakfast if that's what you want. The prices are a bit all over the place and the website has a few glitches but this is an excellent value hotel in a good location. A short taxi ride away from the Batu Ferringhi strip and what it offers. It's now called the Sentral Seaview Hotel.

It's rundown, tattered, things are dirty, staff are awful, breakfast is hardly edible. They're about to change management. WAIT until you hear of a renovation before even considering this place. Trust me. There are way better places in Penang, and if I were you, I'd stay in George Town and just come to Tanjung Bungah for a day trip at the beach (but why, there are way better beaches elsewhere in the vicinity).

My wife and I have stayed at the NAZA TALYYA hotel in Penang on previous occasions. We found during our recent stay on December 8th and 9th 2013 that the hotel facilities had deteriorated even further. 1. The towels were almost thread bare. 2.There was no hot water in our room. 3.Water was running from the toilet cistern constantly. What a waste. 4.The Muslim tap holder was missing and the hose was lying on the floor. 5.Several light bulbs in the room were fused. Even when all lights were working the room was dark. Inspite making several reports nothing was done. We were told by a few staff members that the hotel management would be changing hands from 20 December. Hence, I suppose, the “couldn’t care less” attitude of some of the staff. Apparently the new management would be Hotel Central. Hopefully the new owners would carry out some upgrading of the hotel facilities. They should make sure that all facilities are in good working condition and provide better quality towels. I don’t think hotel patrons would mind paying 10 or 20 ringgit more if the facilities are of a reasonable standard.

I checked in around 9pm, not greet with any smile. was given room on the 10th floor, happy with view and then found out the bedsheet had blood stain on it, later on found out that the WC was dirty and had a terrible smell which flies around the room. Next morning requested for newspaper and was told to get ot from reception as they do not send papers to room. Was shocked with answer given and even no toothbrush provided upon request. This will be the first and the last time my visit to this hotel

Checked in into one of the deluxe room and was surprised to find out that the walls, furnitures are all rundown and dirty. Pls at least re-paint the wall and fix the flooring. The toilet is okay. Balcony was too dirty and must wear slippers to step on. Wondered if naza management has ever come to inspect every room at this hotel

Stayed in Penang for one night on a business trip. We opted to stay in Naza because of the beach front & close proximity to the city as well. However, for those who expect a beautiful beach, forget it. You will not be able to swim there due to jelly fish. So the swimming pool facing the sea is the best option. The main good point is that the price wise, it is reasonably priced & the hawker center opposite gives you good local food. However rooms are dated. Need renovation. When we checked in , the toilet flush was not functioning & the kettle provided does not work. Overall, it is still a good bargain based on the price of the hotel
