My second stay in Muntri Grove, and again a great time. This place is beautiful and perfectly maintained, location is ideal, it is central but secluded and quiet at the same time. Looking forward to come back.

Muntri Grove is ideally situated in the heart of George Town. It is a one store hotel that has been superbly redecorated combining the old wooden framework with modern toilet and shower facilities in an original layout. An open terras for a nice breakfast alongside a small but pleasant swimming pool on the first floor. Very cooperative and most friendly...

We stayed for two nights at this lovely property and enjoyed it immensely. We arrived rather early in the day but were nonetheless greeted warmly and efficiently checked in. understandably our room was not available immediately but staff offered to take care of our luggage, and suggested we were welcome to relax at the pool or explore Georgetown until our...

Big room, comfortable boutique hotel. Stay with natural inside the heart of the heritage city. Lizard and mosquito can be found. Good for leisure trip and backpacker. Limited parking space and the road is narrow, a bit dark during night. Not suitable for family driving with big MPV here.

We spent 2 night in this hotel and were impressed about the very good value for money. Rooms were very spacious and clean with a nice interior. I enjoyed for example the big pillows and mattresses which functioned as a lounge sofa. Breakfast was good with a personal flavor. And the ladies from the reception were very friendly and helpful...

Muntri Grove is a wonderful opportunity to stay in an tastefully and comfortably converted historic building in historic George Town. It is ideally located for exploring all the sites of interest and getting under the skin of the place. What really made it special for us was the warm welcome and excellent service we experienced from the whole team whilst...

I stayed for 3 nights on the top floor of Muntri Grove. I think this is described in the press as a "flashpacker" destination. Perhaps that's a little mean! I think this is a great "boutique" hotel for a short stay in George Town. The location is excellent - right in the buffer zone of the historic centre. I wasn't...

This hotel is on a quiet road but only a short walk from the bars and restaurants of China Town and convenient for the free CAT bus which encircles the world heritage site. We enjoyed hearing the children at play at the school next door. Our room was a generous size, the bed was very comfortable and having our own...

We stayed here 2 nights recently. The property is wonderfully designed and is tucked away down an alley in the heart of Georgetown. The garden is also gorgeous. Considering the busy Georgetown city centre, it was great to have this peaceful haven within walking distance of multiple sights. I must caution however that when we stayed, the school was shut...

Spent a week at this wonderful hotel. It is well located and an easy walk to all attractions. Close to good food stalls. Above all the staff are helpful and friendly. Nothing is a trouble. They go out of their way to make you comfortable. A great place to stay.
