The property owner is very friendly and helpful, even before we arrive the guesthouse. We got a lot of good advice from him: the map, recommended tourist spots, good restaurants, and how to travel around in Penang. We stayed in a King Ensuite room. This room is quite small but the good thing is a private bathroom with a bath tub. There is a free wifi but we can only use it in social area, not in our room as the signal is pretty weak. Location is perfect! Nice and quiet neighborhood, and close to so many interesting places: street arts, museums, restaurants, shopping mall, and cafes.

It’s a beautiful restored old straits settlement shophouse. Lebuh Melayu is quiet and peaceful, a short stroll through lovely less touristy Georgetown streets, from the more central Armenian Street. For that you get a taste of authentic local life. Plenty of coffee shops close by. The room is clean,airy and spacious and simply yet tastefully furnished,the bed amazingly comfortable. The 2 shared bathrooms are very clean and perfectly adequate for the numbers of rooms , we never have to wait to use them. There is a small kitchen and a lovely sitting area by the cool and airy courtyard. A note to the owner/manager; please remind your guests to be mindful of not stomping on wooden floor and door banging.

Stayed in the guesthouse, great place even better location. Right around the corner of the street-art spots. Room is quiet, showers are clean and the airco is really pleasant after spending the morning/afternoon in the blistering heat.

Stayed at the Double Deluxe room (clean and well-maintained shared bathroom), with superb welcome drinks (local Hainan coffee). Location: walking distance to tourist attraction nearby (Beach Street, Armenian Street, etc). Owner was attentive. P.S Check out the old opium bed on display!
