We visited this Indian restaurant, and I can honestly say it is one of the best indian lunches I've ever had. The spicy chicken Handi and mixed vegetable curries were absolutely fantastic as were the tandoori roti and boiled rice. The staff were also very efficient and friendly I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Friend and I getting out the rain decided to sit and have dinner here. We ordered laksa. And satay chicken and mee goreng the chicken came without satay sauce When asked the waiter he said they did not come with sauce. WT that’s a first for us. The chicken was tender though but disappointing no sauce. The laksa was nice. But have tasted better. And the mee noreng was tasteless noodle mash We were 3/4 of the way through our meal and waiter says can I clean this up. I said not really but if you have to and he took away one plate. Then a couple minutes came back and said I clean up. Frustrated and angry said fine if that’s what you want to do. Then he cane back a third time and to take away the place mats. And my friend said why don’t you just take everything away. He said just clean up to give you clean table. Really!!! He kept invading our space we felt uneasy and unwanted. There are many other nice place for dinner. Pass this one.

Hanging out with a few friends after office hours. Arrived at 9pm. Music was good. The drinks were reasonably priced. Didnt try the food here though. We danced and had a great time until about 1am then music changed to edm/house. It just became too loud and impossibls to dance so we left. Pros: Less crowd from 9pm -1am but awesome music. Cons: If you dont like head banging music plan to leave when it gets too intense.

The restaurant has live band, cosy place, good food at reasonable pricing. The staff is friendly and efficient. We ordered a pizza, pasta and salad, 2 ciders. The portion is large, and it’s too much for 2 persons. It costed only RM 130~

I enjoyed several meals and drinks here while staying in Penang. The staff is very friendly and informative. Every time I came in, they greeted me with smiles and handshakes. The food was always hot and fresh. They were always well staffed so no matter how crowded it was or were I was sitting, there was always a helpful person willing to get me whatever I needed! The prices were appropriate for Western dishes in an Eastern country, but overall it was a great place to eat and relax!

We were frequent visitors during our few days in George Town and were greeted well each time. Good professional engaging bar men who had knowledge of bar tendering not just a ‘ job’ Outdoor seating not just for smokers where you can watch the world go by Yes, I agree it’s not cheap but good beer and nice chilled wine by the glass. Didn’t eat there but what we saw served looked and seemed good quality and portion size. Turns into a night clubbing scene later in the day and I do believe a few ladies of the night were present .....

NYE with a DJ here. After paying 42MYR for one can of warm soft drink and cheapest bottle of beer was told by a member of staff and surrounded by a group of locals and told we could not drink at the empty table we were standing at near the dance floor and had our drinks moved off the table. We both like music and my wife was dancing but we had no issue with moving and then saw the same member of staff serve his friends drinks at the same table and basically pushed us out of the way. So instead of enjoying a good night there we left and will certainly not return. They are not welcoming to tourists and there are much more friendly places around Chulia Street. Disappointing.

Enjoyed a couple of drinks at the sit up bar in a cool and relaxed atmosphere. Drinks were expensive e.g 24 RM for a small glass of white wine. This bar also serves food and has a pretty extensive menu including pizza an local dishes. The coffee looked good.

Had the Laksa and one other dish I cannot recall now. Went there twice in two nights because it was so flavorful. Turns into a nightclub type setup on Friday/Saturday evenings later into the night as well.
