Never stay at this hotel. Price is far from what u get. This is not 4 star. They don't give even face towel. Room is dark. Service is bad. Even use plastic spoon. Bathroom is dirty and the room ceiling is low. Eating place is only few and quite far.

Mar2023. The layout is not too big so the layout of the dining area with the food area is quite convenient. When I was there for a weekday dinner (during Ramadhan) the restaurant was almost full (with only a few empty tables). Even so, the staff ratio was sufficient and empty plates were cleared sufficiently quickly. There were many foods that you eat with rice. They had murtabak, roti john, curry noodles and local Malay foods and kuihs. There was a meat station that had chicken and beef but not whole-roast-lamb (which I was hoping for). They had a separate grill section with chicken and lamb-chop but both (chicken and lamb chop) were hard and dry. I just took two bites of each and left the rest. They also had satay which was quite edible. The shawarma wrap was quite OK. Ice cream was a tub of melted foam so I couldn’t get any. There was ice-popsicle though. What I liked the most was the Lamb Kurma (eaten with rice) and also the Soup Gearbox (served in a huge bowl with large pieces of bones where I could reach inside to eat the marrow). The soup was delicious when eaten with bread. FrancisTLim.

Forgive the backdated review, have been playing catch-up. Decor was a bit woodsy for my liking, but room was clean nonetheless. Sleep was good, shower was strong and WIFI was decent. The holy trinity. Breakfast... although a decent spread with egg/noodles stations, was INFESTED with PESTS. The pastry bar was swarmed with ants, and one of the entrees had worms or maggots. I'm not sure, was only informed after if had been taken away. From prep to cooking to serving by the oblivious staff, until diners had to alert them to it. I have been to many crappy hotels, and in all other aspects this isn't one. But no matter how disappointing the food was, I had never experienced this. No, there will not be a repeat stay.

We stayed at room 10-07, heard knocking noise all the way. Imagine, I thought it was the room beside us making the noise, when i knock twice, it responded twice, knocked thrice, you can guess what happen. I went to see if the room beside us is making the noise, i was surprised to see it was a staircase which is locked - only accessible by the management with a card. I asked them to check what's in there, they opened and there was an empty store room, it was dark and 2 door (small space for pipe riser) i convinced my wife the noise is coming from the pipe, but it got worst at night. You literally can hear someone laugh in the cupboard. We had to sleep at the lobby until the management changed our room to 4-07. It was quiet and the room was bright, (My sis-in-law discovered a small tied hair behind the pillow) we were happy...but not for LONG! The knocking noise came back and this time it was very loud, called the management again (all of this happen between 11 PM to 5 AM). I was so furious and open the stairs door, it OPENED without card! I didn't use any force, went inside and open the door (pipe riser doors) it didn't even move, called the maintenance people to check again, they were in our room for a long time, and heard the knocking noise. One of the guy ran to the stairs, i followed him, they were holding the pipe to confirm if its the pipe. I told my family to go to the lobby, while we were in there, knocking noise came again..ITS NOT THE PIPE! ITS COMING FROM BEHIND THE WALL OF OUR ROOM!! IT SWITCHED PLACE! We decided to take the inter-connecting from at 10-26 and 10-27, while packing the stuffs at 4-07, I literally heard footsteps walking towards me. Remember, the 2 pipe riser door in the staircase which i couldn't open wit full force? The maintenance guy opened the door with one finger! and i couldn't. Horrible experience, no matter how many times we switched room, the noise kept coming - We all got tired from the BS and decided not to be bothered and slept off. SLEEPLESS NIGHT! This hotel catered covid-19 patients before, and a lot of unknown stories yet to be revealed. DO NOT CONSIDER THIS HOTEL!

Dated rooms. Water leaking in toilet. Loose closet doors. Did not provide readily hand soap . Only 1 towel ready in room. U have to request for everything and it takes a long time to arrive. Request to change rooms but instead they send maintenance at late hour to repair. Hotel should have allocated a good room without issues if guest check in late . The check out service is a torture. Informed earlier the night before to prepare invoice but they refuse Instead they took 30mins the mext morning to prepare docs. Never coming back.

I had walked in after hearing their cafe has opened back. The food was so delicious and of such high quality and the curry was a stand out! Real malay curry that you would not regret. 5 stars rated. Keep it up serving good food to your customer. The lunch set promo is reasonable. My colleagues and I were to full for additional but will definitely be back to try them! They have ala carte menu too! All the best Chef and Team!
