The worst hotel ever …..rooms & corridor smelt of cockroaches, rooms had wall stains from leaking - its like a horror movie…. Very very badly kept & worst ever customer service…..i had to carry my own bags when requested to change my room & they weren’t even apologetic.

Definitely a well-located hotel in Butterworth Central Business area. Overall the price for this type of hotel room is very worth. My concern is the smell of the whole corridor floor and also the room is a bit funky. It has a very weird strong smell of bug repellent.

I stayed 5 nights at the hotel on a business trip. Paid RM1300++ for the room booking through Agoda. The location is strategic about 1 km from the PLUS highway exit to Prai. one of the worst experience ever. room carpet smelly, dusty , toilet got mold, kettle is rusty, hotel breakfast feel like is from pasar malam, chose this hotel only because it was near to my relative house but will not be choosing this again. the room felt like a prison. very rundown and old. unhygienic. rude staffs. no welcoming when we arrive.

I made the biggest mistake of booking at Ixora via agoda. ☹️ I booked a room for 2 nights for my parents from an online service (agoda), there was an error with the app and it double booked the room (double the price RM 736 for 2 nights!) 🤯 I talked to the agency I booked from and they replied that the money has been collected by hotel and that it is up to the hotel to either refund or amend. 🤕 I went back and forth between the agoda and Ixora for 2 days to solve this. They kept throwing the ball back and forth, it was frustrating.😵💫 At last the hotel said it couldnt refund. So I requested that even if they couldn't refund, at least extend 2 more days as they have already collected my payment. Since it was weird for there to be a double booking of the same room at the same dates, shouldn't the hotel consider as an anomaly and contact the client directly. However, no messages from eithet Agoda or Ixora 💸 They denied saying they couldn't do anything about it. Its a big establishment with good business, why are they dying to take my money? 😢 The hotel is outdated and has a super slow service. We had lined up for an hour before getting into the room. I also saw an angry customer cursing at the counter. It is next to an old mall and foreign workers hostels where many theft, robbery and murder cases happen. 🔪☠️ It not only ruined our holiday but our budget as well. 🤢 Please, I urge everyone to not stay here! 😭🙏🏽…

Worst hotel! They will give out your room. Beware! Despite paid full amount, the hotel will release your room when you come. End up no room if u come late at night. They will simply say it’s overbooked and sorry. Where do you expect customers to go at middle of night? And beware of the rude front desk manager name “shantini” the has no mercy, rude and arrogant. If can just avoid this hotel and book something like the light house or sunway hotel which u will be in a safer hands.

Ixora Hotel service is very bad. Housekeeping is the worst. You will never get your request until you make noise. They dont speak english or Bahasa Melayu. The hotel provides Aristo coffee machine but no coffee capsule. What a joke..!! So I guess its just for deco And of you want to use it..BUY YOUR OWN CAPSULE..!! They should consider taking out from the marketing item of Suite Room.. And dont bother caling the housekeeping or guest service especially at night..no one will answer. You need to go down to the front desk face to face to be heard..And whatever you complain…no one listens. Overall this hotel is just like a 2 star hotel in a shop house unit or Rumah Tumpangan…
