We visited the "Latest Recipe" restaurant located within the premises of the Le Meridien Hotel at IOI Mall, Putrajaya this afternoon for a buffet lunch, to celebrate my dear wife's birthday, which falls today.
On arrival at the restaurant, I requested the staff to give us a good table as we were celebrating her birthday. The receiption staff, a young, professional and courteous staff called Izadi took us to the table we wanted, and soon, we 'feted' on a wide variety of always fresh, elegantly served variety of popular foods from Malaysia, India, China, Japan, SKorea, and western dishes. I requested warm water, and we were supplied regular glasses of same, so I would not suffer from my chronic asthma problem during my visit!
We left the best to the last of course, as we enjoyed the huge variety of desserts, Malaysian, Western and it seemed as though we were visiting some 5 restaurants at the same time.
I specially recommend the chocolate offerings as well as the delightful cheese cake.
Just as we finished our meal, the staff came round with a delightful cake and a candle on it, and they all (and a large collection of guests there) all sang Happy Birthday for my wife, which made it a truly memorable experience.
We'll never forget this experience, esp. the kindness, generosity and professionalism of the staff, who took care to make our 2+ hour visit there a memory to cherish during our entire lifetime.

This is one comfortable Hotel to live in. I consider their standard room as big enough and the bed as comfortable enough for any business traveler to spent a night in. With a stylish toilet which equipped both bath tub and shower cubicle ,even the shower pressure is very good.
The coffee house is ok with a good selection of breakfast. With the covid virus in mind, their buffet selection come in with a plastic glove given to every customer. Meaning everytime you wanna grab a food ,plastic glove must be worn at all time. The only thing missing is the enforcement ,when few customer did not wear their glove ,their workers did not advise accordingly. And this is bad actually.
Another thing that is great about this hotel is that ,it is attached to the huge shopping mall.
However I am quite dissappointed during check in is that ,their rules mentioned that checking in is at 3pm. I did that only to find out that I am only able to go into my room an hour after that..due to the room is not ready.

Had a dinner buffet with the whole family for the first time after MCO. Precaution were taken where they take your temperature before entering the hotel, buffet was served by the staff so we do not have to move around, thus avoiding contact with people there. Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable prices. Special thanks to staff named Fazrin and Naim for their excellent service during our dinner. Will definitely come back.

This place would have alot of potential if they change their menus, get rid of their chefs and also get rid of their front desk staff and managers. The place is run half haphazardly and staff are trained to lie to their guests. They smile at first glance but when things go wrong they look for any excuse to turn the tables around and try to slide their way out of the situation. There was a water issue during our stay, and the water color in our room turned yellow. They blamed it on the city and said they had no control over it. That was a complete lie. Had the city actually had this problem we would have seen something on the news or read in the newspapers about it, but nothing was ever mentioned. When i confronted the clerk she asked me to hold on a moment and came back saying they were going to fix it, and get back to me. Days later nothing ever happened. This time i went back to the front desk asking for a manager and he assured me the problem was getting fixed that same day! He also offered us a free meal at the buffet. Another 2 days had past and i was getting fed up, i approached him again and he assured me they were working on it but there were alot of rooms to attend to. They offered us another buffet. After two more days i told the manager if he doesn't fix the problem we will leave. He offered us another buffet meal and i refused and told him i think a discount was appropriate. That's when things started getting complicated, they refused to offer me a discount and it was obvious at this point that they hoped i would just leave. After speaking to several of the staff members at the front desk and asking for managers, that's when the lies began. This guy is not available and that guy is not available etc.. etc.. Then if i happen to get someone new at the desk they would just look through my entire account study my passport and where i am from, see if i'm up to date on my Visa etc. etc..just to get an idea of how to handle me. This place is just not run right. They are not professional and finally i left never to return. I never met such unprofessional staff before, it was like faulty towers. The food was also lousy and the same buffet everyday, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure you carry toilet paper with you after the buffet because the food will make you run to the toilet.

Booked for a night on Christmas day itself by points redemption on Marriott Bonvoy apps, considering the cash rate on public holiday can be quite ridiculous sometimes.

Didn't expect any upgrades since it's Public Holiday, but at 2pm received notification that my room was ready and was upgraded to Club King Room. Thanks for that.

Upon arriving, saw the long and busy queue at reception so tried to enquire with staff named Raziq, whom offered to check my reservation. Raziq then welcomed me to the sofa area where all the check in requirements was done smoothly. Compliments for the kind gesture.

Room was spacious and well appointed with nice view of the golf course and Putrajaya skyline. Everything was immaculate, but if I were to be picky I would say there's few areas of improvement:
1) only 1 bathrobe provided
2) only bath towels provided, no hand/face towel
3) the desk lamp only can be switched on/off at the wall socket
4) the TV quality could be improved

The evening cocktail at Club Lounge was good with varieties of food available.

But the can't be said during breakfast which left a bitter taste to the stay. I came down to Latest Recipe at 10am, which is my preferred breakfast time at any hotels which gives me ample time to have my simple breakfast.

But at 10am that morning, the restaurant was too tired to have me. The server who ushered me to my table even remarked "We're about to close but still people coming for breakfast".

The salad wasn't topped up anymore and there's no roasted sesame dressing as expected. I then tried the pasta which was not cooked proper as well as the hard meatballs. While I was enjoying my breakfast (or what's left of it), restaurant staff helped themselves at the coffee machine as if there's no guests any more.

Overall Le Meridien was a good stay, I just hope that the service during breakfast could be improved.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights because the hotel close to the airport and our flight arrived KL at midnight. We didn’t want to stay in KL CBD as our main destination to go to Ipoh and to avoid traffics going out from KL. We enjoyed staying at Le Meridien Putrajaya. The room was comfortable, stylish and clean. The hotel is near to the big shopping mall with retails, cinema and restaurants. Its was so convenient and lots of choices at food courts and restaurants. Our favourite restaurant was JOM Laksa, they made a such a good asam laksa. If you want to stop over for 1 or 2 nights without going to KL, this hotel is the best option

Check-in on 12 June 2020 for early celebration to celebrate father's day

Hotel take the standards of hygiene and cleanliness very seriously to ensure the safety of all guests

Masks worn by all staff,

checking and recording the temperature of each guest at the time of check-in
Eliminate all buffets and self-serve options

Staff always give the guest a warm and friendly welcome.

room clean n tidy and our room have great views

In room dining food was absolutely wonderful and properly prepared.

Just a quick walk to IOI City Mall, that very convenient to move around

First of all, I would like to say that the hotel does keep up with the visitors enquiries and latest demand.Although we didnt get suite upgrade, they did their best in providing alternative and we do appreciate on the gesture. They really put a lot of effort in maintaining standards by making sure the service is up to certain standards. For the club lounge, I have to say the team really well deserved an appreciation for their dedication serving the patrons. We do appreciate as Platinum and Titanium members for your attentive service.

For the breakfast, shout out to En Taufiq (deserves promotion) and Ms Amalina (intern) for the excellent job in handling and taking care of the crowd during the weekend morning rush.

Very good spread and well executed for the service. This is what we call excellent service and very attentive to the customer request.

Look forward to stay again with Le Meridien Putrajaya for their superb Hospitality.

Good:
1.Room and facilities in the room were good and clean.
2. Breakfast spread was excellent.

Poor:
1. The level 20 lounge facility was closed due to the current pandemic situation. My family and I was totally disappointed with the replacement, which was a small room.
2. Food served in lounge was also equally limited and to make things worst, the staff rejected my request for finger food at 7.20 pm (closing time at 7.30) citing that they are closing soon and no food available anymore. At 7.30, the air condition of the room was closed.
3. For my reservation, I did via the call center and I purposely selected a room that come with lounge facility, and I would appreciate if they would have told me about the closure.
4. Bathroom floor was very slippery, probably due to the detergent used for cleaning not washed completely.

Overall my experience for this trip was bad compared to previous experiences in other Marriott hotel that I have been to. I hope the hotel does not use the recent pandemic situation to provide an excuse.

Absolutely unfriendly and unwelcoming from the hotel. I am one of the frontliners who is currently having long term stay at Le Meridien Putrajaya and I must say my experience has been mostly unpleasant.

1. Housekeeping
Housekeeping was not done on daily basis. Called for housekeeping, only towels were changed. On further enquiry, the front desk staff told that it will only be done every three days- which was not informed during check in!

2. In-room amenities
Only minimal amenities provided.
Bathroom: only a cheap bar soap was provided along with bath towels. No shower gel, shampoo, etc.
No slippers/robe/coffee provided as well.

3. Lift not working well
One of my friends got stuck at the lift to parking lot for 30 minutes. Bell and intercom in the lift weren’t working. Staff only realised when they saw someone has been in a lift for too long. No apology was made from the hotel side at all!

This is very much difference with the treatment I got when I visited the hotel last time. Why is there discrepancy in treatment between long term stay and short stay residents?

Front desk staffs have been giving us cold shoulders when approached with complaints.

Otherwise, close proximity between the hotel and IOI City Mall is very convenient.
Gym and pool are nice.

Definitely a very pleasant experience from Marriott group and Le Meridien Putrajaya. Improvement is very much needed.

There is a separate entrance for hotel parking. While that could also be used by shoppers, in reality that does not happen. Also the hotel has 2 elevators which give access to the parking, so security is good. Parking is free for hotel guests.
