Having travelled the world, and experiencing everything from a basic youth hostel to a luxurious suite and everything in between, I can safely say that this hotel doesn't deserve the current rating that it portrays itself to be. The room was filthy! The wallpapers were peeling off and were stained. The back of the TV had a THICK layer of dust which shows that the room was probably never cleaned properly in years. I would expect the bed and mattress to not have been cleaned properly too as I woke up with a stuffy nose on both mornings. The tiles in the shower were mouldy and disgusting. There was a metal fragment sticking out at the bedside which could cause serious injuries, especially to children. And perhaps the "best thing" which came came to my attention last was that I had a roommate, a cockroach. I will never return to this hotel ever again.

I don’t like to leave a bad review but if I could leave zero I would. This hotel was the by far the worst experience I’ve had in a long time. I travel often and usually stay in 2 and 3 stars nicer than this place even hostels. This place is in need of some serious renovations. The carpet all throughout is moldy and stained. My shower was filthy along with blood on the towel. I checked in a bit early to attend the spa. Only to be told it’s closed (not mentioned on the website) ok I’ll go relax by the pool except No wifi.? Then I go to the swim up bar( it’s empty) no alcohol on the premises sold. The buffet was ok at best. I returned to my room to see a rat run across the floor. That was the end for me as I packed my bag and didn’t even sleep the night. I asked for a refund and got only half. Then had to pay for an additional transport to a new hotel that night. This place gets two middle fingers up.

The hotel looked NO maintenance for years. They should check their facilities prior to having guest check in the rooms. A lot of broken and damaged items. Room were dirty, toilet wasn't functioning well, the bedskirt was torn; and many more!

The hotel is located on a high hill in Putrajaya cause we can see the building from far. The guest parking is within walking distance between the hotel and parking. Rest assured, there is a buggy car going back and forth from the hotel entrance to the parking every 5-10minutes. The front desk lady was really nice and the check-in process was smooth. As my room is not ready, she guided us to the waiting area with the welcome drink. The room was spacious with a balcony. One of the light bulbs was spoiled and the room was super dark even though we have turned on all the lights in the room. The bathroom is the brightest. Overall, I'm satisfied with the hotel.

Nothing can do here. Very boring hotel. Not worth with your money. Abandon place. Tagline “ luxury is comfort” is funny. Old furniture. Parking lot very far and nobody is there to help you. I did’nt see any security guard walk around. And the worst the hotel look so scary

We have checked in for 3 rooms on 3 & 4 Oct 20, room was dirty with hairs, stain on linen, dustbin provided without plastic bag, the lights too dim, the toilet drainage was bad with overflowing water and stuck, bath tub shower not working. Tissue box was only provided upon request! Swimming pool was nice but my niece had slightly injured her feet due to the sharp mozac floor. The staff was helpful provided the first aid. But they need to improve the safety of pool. Breakfast was so so, nothing special on this. But the in room service menu was not provided, and I was only given the menu just to snap pics as they did not have enough menu to provide the guest. As 5 star hotel standard, by right you SHOULD ensure the menu is provided in every guest rooms. Overall, staff were polite, friendly and helpful. But the standard was below par. Please improve. Tq

We were keen to stay in Shang-ri La hotels - So when we heard that this hotel were once owned by them, we made the decision to stay here. Okay, here's the deal. Whatever grandeour it once have... it is gone. The place looks gloomy, it looks tired. Bottom line is that it has lost its charm. It reeks of fatigue, and the soul just isn't there. Stay-wise, out Unit was near the pool, and there's a balcony that overlooks the park. Quite nice, but the bed moved when we slept on it, and the floor creaked, and there were dust around the nooks and crannies. We had lunch at the place, and the place were void of other people. Food were of course 5-star price, but quality, portions, and service were way off the marks. My steak was tough, the plate bloodied, and my coffee? I have had better, way better elsewhere (& way cheaper!). All in all, I dare say that the place is okay, location-wise, but given chance, you may want to opt for other place around the area.

Pulse Grande is a former Shangri-La Hotel Putrajaya. Nicely located on the hill top near botanical garden overlooking the administrative capital of Malaysia. Could be a good option for a weekend stay or a business event.

1) Fairly rating a 5 star hotel, the breakfast is not even at a 3 star standard. Cold food, horrible settings, taste was bad, coffee tasted like water with brown colouring. The worse breakfast I have ever had & this is coming from a 5 star rating hotel. 2) Aircon for both rooms were just bad, I think it's time they do a major overhaul. The excuse given was the weather was very hot hence aircon not working. But isn't that what's aircon is for, cool air during hot weather? I have been to hotter country with no issue with their hotel aircon. Very disappointing that the staffs just push the blame on the "weather". 3) On check out day we were asked to leave on the dot, asked for just 15-30mins extension as none of us had a good sleep due to faulty aircon. With zero consideration they said no. The only pros was probably the concierge staff & FO ... I have nothing positive to say about the supervisor nor managers as they were just so unfriendly & zero hospitality skill. Very disappointing.

Room size adequate, well lit with natural light. Bathroom large, clean and well maintained. The hotel is situated opposite a wonderful park, however the view is sadly somewhat obstructed by a canopy. A walk in the park was breathtaking. One of the most beautiful parks in Malaysia.awesome views, well maintained and clean! Given the beautiful natural environment, the hotel has yet to reach its best potential.
