The first room which was given to us had a slight sourish musky smell to it so we told the reception which then promised to get the housekeeping staff to look into it. We went out, came back to the room and the smell was still there so we asked to change room.

The new room was smaller but it had some air conditioning problem, which spoilt our first night because it was just too hot to sleep! Again we informed the reception which then had the maintenance guy to come over to look at the air conditioning. It worked well for the rest of the nights.

Although the hotel is fairly new you can see the maintenance is not very good as some wear and tear is showing.

It has a small but decent gym (they could do with a mat for floor exercises). The pool is okay but a tad dirty due to a lot of people using it. It can get overcrowded at peak times so go early if you want to do laps.

One point to raise is that the hotel should provide a room where the housekeeping staff can rest on their break times. It's not right for them to be sitting out in public resting outside the store room. Please treat these ppl well too. They deserve as much comfort as the ones sitting in the reception comfortably in the air conditioning.

I booked the family room which had 1 king bed and 1 single bed. The room had a microwave that was a plus but the walls were too thin could hear the people walking past our rooms and the cleaning crews trolley was very loud when they push it pass our room also the hotel was not far from the airport and the planes passing by was very noisy. Location however was great walking distance to Imago Mall. Also there is a 24hour self service laundry in the building infront so easy to do laundry late at night.

Booked for a group of 10 persons for 2 nights for 2 x 2-bedroom apartments and 1 x 1-bedroom apartments. It was the beginning our nightmare:
1) You’d need to collect your parking pass from separate location a couple of kilometres away so if you have your own transport, it will be a challenge
2) The signage is misleading, apartment is actually called The Klagan @ Riverson and the security is no help.
3) There is no check-in counter at the lobby so be prepared for some mis-steps
4) In the basement, the allocated parking is not clearly marked and parking pass failed on our every exit causing much consternation to us and the cars trailing behind us
5) One of the rooms was hastily cleaned and it showed, the floors certainly wasn’t mopped
6) The aircon in one of the rooms was leaking
7) The drain outlet in one of the showers was clogged but in fairness, it was probably due to the previous inconsiderate guest
8) On the 2nd day, water supply was completely terminated to 2 apartments at 5:45 am. We were told they would be looked into and subsequently resume after breakfast. We returned at 11:45 am to non-running taps. Many calls later to the hotel rep, we were moved to another hotel at 2:00 pm

If patience is a virtue, you’d be an extremely virtuous person to book this apartment after reading about my experience. It felt like a trial run except it has been opened for nearly 2 years. We receive neither an apology nor offer of compensation. Shocking!

On the bright side, the apartment was tastefully decorated.

The room was spacious, and would have been nice if there was not that continuous weird stuffy smell everywhere. The bathroom also smelled bad, like the drain wasn't working very well. The kitchenette wasn't having electricity so the fridge was not working when we arrived, and the receptionist didn't know how to turn it on. In the end we located a box with switches and were able to get the fridge working.

Honestly I expected better based on the reviews. Don't think we will choose this place again.

we booked a suite as we have a todler. on arrival we were presented a superior room. after complaining, we were told that the suite was not available and offered a family room. the room was just nearby the pool hence very dark (we had to open the light even with a bright sun outside!) and noisy as some people were going to the pool at 8am. overall it made our stay being mostly unpleasant. we were not able to enjoy our time at the hotel and avoided as much as possible to stay there.
we felt cheated as only after being on site (whereas we booker 2 months in advance) we were told the room we booked was not available. having known before we would have chosen another hotel.
we contacted Agoda support but after a dozen email and confusion nothing could be done (we got a 30 usd voucher)

Superb place for visitors and especially families to stay here. Very clean and easily accessible to a everywhere. It is within walking distance to downtown. It is near to a very large shopping complex. Walking distance to downtown core, and to riverside. Lots of things to see and eat nearby the hotel.

Friendly staff. The rooms are modern and clean. Great location! It's right by IMAGO mall and a short walk away from the waterfront. Also, it's close to TIYA spa which I frequented. The swimming pool is very nice. A jacuzzi is next to the pool. It had good, powerful jets, but I wish the water had been hotter. Overall, we were very happy there! We have made 4 separate bookings in the last couple weeks. They will store some baggage in between stays too.

Took a room here to recover after a stint in the hospital which is a 2 minute walk through the Riverson Mall. This convenience alone (including access to places to eat and buy provisions) won it a 4-star review from me.

The staff here are gold - the receptionists, both morning and evening shifts - really delivered with assistance, despite having their hands full managing the many families that stay over weekends for staycations. Special shoutout also to the maintenance staff who were ready to fix a lock on the connecting room door in my unit - despite the late evening.

The room itself (I was in the Kanowi suite) was clean, well appointed and spacious. Only minor niggle is that the room is just a little tired looking - after all it is a popular staycation choice.

While the TV channels were limited - the super fast wifi more than made up for it.

Overall very good stay - and definitely recommended for those needing to recover after hospital.

Location of hotel and room facilities were all good. A bit disappointed with their service - we did not get our room until 4:30pm & they did not provide us with adequate bath towels dispite calling to remind them.
