If you want a good location hotel but don't want to pay an arm or a leg then this hotel for you.I have been staying here whenever I been in KK. The staff usually very polite at the counter. Not anymore.Their standard has dropped it is not how it used to be. My wife in the past had asked for a hairdryer after her shower. In the past it arrived within minutes. This trip it arrived half a day later.I asked to help turn the Aircon on.Apparently there is a switch by the entrance door you have to turn on before the Aircon will work.It took 3 calls before they turn up.After they arrived homethey scolded you for calling so many times. When u remonstrated that it's very hot without Aircon they chided u for being stupid not knowing about the switch. U wrote a complaint to their management at around midnight. They delete it and knocked at your door at that midnight hour probably looking for a fight!!!You get the picture of the hooligans you dealing with?!!! I m looking elsewhere next time I m in KK.Certainly will not recommend this hotel to anyone any longer!! Frank C…
When first arrived, the surrounding and the building didn't give much impact. Infact been wondering had we made a good choice by staying here. But after checked in, was relieved to see the clean practical room. Situated in walking distance to attraction places. Good wifi coverage. Tv need upgrade on the reception. Other than that really was value for money.
I was here with the wife in KK for shopping n golfing. Most hotels are fully booked so we try this hotel.Room was a deluxe room with a king size bed.Initially it was Rm150 but they reduced to Rm130 after Chinese New Year peak season. Room small but very clean n tidy. There is a safe n hot water available. Location is good. Its just beside Hyatt Regency n Merdeka shopping centre. We shopped at Suria shopping centre which is also. Outside typical malaysian dirty street. If u into hygience n cant stand backstreet dirt definitely not for you. We golf a lot n shop a lot n not in our room much.Opposite is Maiminah malay Restaurant 24 hours. We had our roti n kopi tarek there early morning n then off to golf course.suit us fine. Evening within walking distance we find durian stalls n a little further towards the harbour side we find seafood stalls selling fresh seafood lobster prawn crabs fish n the lot. Its a good hotel at a very good location n the room rate is fair.I would recommend it to anyone who just want a clean place to stay the night! Frank…
Great location as it is walking distance to malls and resturantas. Room was spacious and clean although sometines you can smell cigarette smoke. Reception was friendly, checking in was a breeze. Restroom was ok with shampoo and soap although no toothbrush. Shower was available although hot wate was not as hot as I wanted due to one water heater breaking down. Pricing was reasonable. Only downside was the surrounding area outside the hotel. Overall, it was a good stay. Cant complain with the amount I was paying for a room.
The location of this hotel is almost at the center of kota kinabalu, everything you need is walking distance. Its very near groceries, wet and dry markets, shopping malls, restaurants, night life, convenient stores. A short walk will get you to the waterfront area. Great staff also.
