Wife and I wanted a cheap place to stay for 2 nights in KK town. We looked up online and decided to choose this hotel due to its location and price. The parking was not free but it wasn't that expensive. The first thing i noticed when i entered the room was that there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom..Eughh. The design of the room was a bit odd but bearable. The room does get hot when you leave it for a while due to the big glass windows and it takes time for the a/c to cool it off. Soundproofing was not that good either. Room is only good for sleep.
I only stayed here for a quick night of sleep. I came back from the Mt Kinabalu trip in the evening and had a flight to catch around 6am. So I just needed a place to shower, and get some sleep. The hotel was a great choice as it is good value. Staff is helpful and although you wont find luxury here, it has everything you need to crash a night at an affordable price.
I got the worst and tiny bedroom in the hotel as I was rushing to get a hotel in KK. Booked via booking.com and got a room just enough to sleep and bed is next to the toilet with no shower. Shower is outside which we share with others. If you have small budget even, don't come here go somewhere else. Location is OK but not the hotel itself.Won't stay or come near to the hotel in my next visit..hehe
This hotel is easily one of the worst, if not the worst that I have been to in KK. We were given a very small room at first, which looked like nothing from the photos and resembles more like a utility room. During our first night, we found a centipede in the bathroom but after informing the hotel management, they were kind enough to give us a bigger room to compensate. The only plus point is its location but other than that, nothing much to shout about. Not really a family-friendly place either, with a couple of dodgy-looking massage parlours located just next door. Also, there is a constantly funny smell coming from the toilet and the sink (which is located OUTSIDE of the bathroom) which greatly reduces the quality of your sleep. In short, there are cheaper hotels than this that provide far better facilities.…
As we went to check in the room. Suddenly it is unpleasant that there's no towels, need to ask the friendly staff at either the lobby or the cleaner. My friend said the air conditioning is not good, so we need to ask permission to change new room. In suddenly the staff recommended different bed size and no windows. My friend is smoker so he need to get fresh air at outside. Damn the staff need more improvement of preparing the towels in future.
Our first trip to Kota Kinabalu. Shared bathroom and uncomfortable room. Not recommendable if looking for comfort. In the middle of Kota Kinabalu. Near the shopping area and seaside. Night walk near the Philippines Market. Good for those with tight bugget, though.
good stay, good location, accessible to everywhere you want with the reach of transport. this is my third stay with the hotel after my climb from the mount KK. its location is in walking distance to famous seafood stall, local food stall, market, waterfront and night activity. if you can walk, you can also reach to suria mall. that will take more than 30 minutes walk. really recommendable for backpack traveler. simple breakfast is provided if you include in your stay. it might be simple, but fulfilling and enjoyable. Distance to airport within 15 minutes drive. Strategic location. good. thumbs up.
My wife and I decide to go to ok for a wedding reception. We decided to book via Agoda. When we arrived, the rooms are fully booked. The staffs there are not friendly at all and could not be bothered to help us to look for other option. I felt terribly let down by this poor service. It is a shame to the beautiful people of Sabah.
The room is small but very clean, we were given towels and water and had the room cleaned everyday. The staff were very helpful, they booked an uber taxi for us and rang companies to get information that we needed. The hotel is right in the centre and so walkable distance to the markets, shops and other attractions. I booked through agoda as it was a lot cheaper than just turning up or booking directly through the hotel.
The staff are nice and helpful the facilities are modern enough and the rooms are clean and comfortable, there is a lift but there's a flight of stairs before you reach it and breakfast is ok if you get there in time
