Wife and I wanted a cheap place to stay for 2 nights in KK town. We looked up online and decided to choose this hotel due to its location and price. The parking was not free but it wasn't that expensive. The first thing i noticed when i entered the room was that there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom..Eughh. The design of the room was a bit odd but bearable. The room does get hot when you leave it for a while due to the big glass windows and it takes time for the a/c to cool it off. Soundproofing was not that good either. Room is only good for sleep.

I booked deluxe with seaview room only to find out the room was so small, and the window was actually facing a big hotel, not the sea view. The room was so small, we had no place to put our luggage. The room arrangement was a complete bizarre with tv was placed at the side of the bed, and a wash basin was outside the bathroom!! It was so messy and wet. The water heater was not working properly. We requested to change to another room but all were fully occupied. Finally a standard room was available and we downgraded to standard room which was bigger than the deluxe room. However, no refund of price difference was given for the downgrade room. The standard room was OK compared to the deluxe room.
However, we like the hotel location near to eatery places, shopping mall, and local attractions.
Please avoid deluxe room with seaview window if you wish to stay in this hotel.

Small rooms so beware. But clean white sheets in my room but small flat screen TV

Kind of a rustic, boutique style so each room is a surprise lol

Dark-wooden decor. Make sure you have your own bathroom before booking, check the details online first and print it out. Some have to share the bathroom.

Hotel is not so far from a starbucks if you like that kind of thing.

will be coming back again soon. As I know, this hotel is great. in a great location. we enjoy our nights during our stay. Romantic dinner in waterfront just 2 minutes walk, night club, Philipino Market. wow.. awesome with great rate. front desk give us a great information about great place to visit near by and good info about mount kinabalu, near by kundasang and very helpful. we dont need any car rental, as we know that we stay in city center. all in walking distance. this is the cheapest hotel from other hotel near by them. and the taxi driver help us too much. thanks to all that make our holiday in great memories!

I only stayed here for a quick night of sleep. I came back from the Mt Kinabalu trip in the evening and had a flight to catch around 6am. So I just needed a place to shower, and get some sleep. The hotel was a great choice as it is good value. Staff is helpful and although you wont find luxury here, it has everything you need to crash a night at an affordable price.

I got the worst and tiny bedroom in the hotel as I was rushing to get a hotel in KK. Booked via booking.com and got a room just enough to sleep and bed is next to the toilet with no shower. Shower is outside which we share with others. If you have small budget even, don't come here go somewhere else. Location is OK but not the hotel itself.Won't stay or come near to the hotel in my next visit..hehe

This hotel is easily one of the worst, if not the worst that I have been to in KK. We were given a very small room at first, which looked like nothing from the photos and resembles more like a utility room. During our first night, we found a centipede in the bathroom but after informing the hotel management, they were kind enough to give us a bigger room to compensate. The only plus point is its location but other than that, nothing much to shout about. Not really a family-friendly place either, with a couple of dodgy-looking massage parlours located just next door. Also, there is a constantly funny smell coming from the toilet and the sink (which is located OUTSIDE of the bathroom) which greatly reduces the quality of your sleep. In short, there are cheaper hotels than this that provide far better facilities.

The transfer they arranged for me from the airport to the hotel was very smooth. It is located down town as part of a shopping mall, easy reachable, walking distance to many a place you want to go to. The lobby is on the third floor. To reach the elevator you have to go up a few steps. Sure the room was small but that is enough to sleep in and the bed had fresh linens, a functioning AC and the room was cleaned daily too. At the front desk I was helped with whatever I needed with a welcoming smile. Lobby, information and tour desk plus breakfast are all in the same room. Breakfast simply but good, no bread. The cleaning staff was thoughtful, helpful and really accommodating. The cleaner deserves a special praise.

Room Tip: My room was towards the inside of the shopping mall which means it was noisy late at night.

The good - convenient location, adequate facilities, staff are quite friendly. Only problem was the broken wifi for almost a day during our stay, and the staff didn't seem to know how to handle that. The price is slightly higher than similar level hotel in the vicinity.
