Me and my family stayed here for two days. Our room was clean and comfortable. There were appliances provided such as hairdryer and iron. The staff working here are very helpful and friendly. We were provided with free breakfast as well. The food was self service but they were well cooked. We are also able to get around the city easily since it is located in the middle of the city. Parking for the residents are also great. Overall, our stay was a pleasant one and the whole family enjoyed the time there. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone that's looking to stay in the city.

First time in KK. First time stay with HIE KK. Booking was made by a travel agency, as part of a tour package. We arrived at the hotel around 7.30pm, tired, especially the kids were looking forward to resting and settling down. We were give wrong type of rooms. The travel agency booked us two connecting rooms (becoz we kids) with three beds each. But we were given two rooms with one small queen sized bed. We had to go down and ask about the room, came up to change the room, bring our heavy bags here and there, bring the kids here and there, the kids had to wait at the alley/corridor. HIE KK had no courtesy to come up to us and help us with transferring rooms etc. After one hour of unnecessary chaos, we were given rooms on the same floor but not connected or even side by side or adjacent as we would like, despite the fact that the request has been made by the travel agency months ago.…

My flight landing on 7pm , take airport taxi with cost RM30 ( airport price ) is only 10-15min from airport to hotel. Front Desk so helpful and fast for check in. We get room for 3 of us ( one is roller sofa bed ) Breakfast is not Bad for budget hotel. Staff really nice to us And most great is , they have Laundry Room on 1st floor ( put inside RM5 coin , u can change there is have machine changing coins ) Walkin distance go to food market in nite time ( behind Hotel Hilton ) I Should be back if go travel Sabah Ps. Take Grab for order taxi online cost you around RM5-6 of you wanna go to Kedai /KK Mal / Suriah Mall

The two types of pillows, soft and hard, on the bed were interesting. The wireless broadband was excellent. The Front Desk staff and Housekeeping team were excellent, polite and very attentive. The lobby was immaculate, the carpets clean and the cushioned seats still clean, without any streaks or dirt. I really like ambience and the hotel is strategically placed within walking distance to all the spots I wanted to go and see. Transport from and to the airport was super quick and easy. This is going to be my go to hotel whenever I visit Kota Kinabalu. Highly recommended!

Spacious and cozy rooms. Facing sunsetview. Tasty food. The staffs are all friendly and helpfull. 5 star... Ample parking space. Computers corner very convenient and gym center also excellent. Connecting rooms are available.

Good breakfast buffet and worth it due to lots of variations. Friendly staff, Norzie serve me coffee and food hospitality! Nice food, great interior, clean and good ambience as well! Price worth it for solo breakfast!

This hotel is very new, the lobby is beautful. The room is very comfort with a mini fridge, coffee making facilities, a hair dryer, iron board. The buffet breakfast is very good with coffee machine for cupuccino, latte, etc. I love the crossiants here n love how they put the crossiants and pastries in the heated glass see through warmer. That makes the crossaints, pastries hot at all times. The location is not that ideal as you need to walk quite a distance to cafes or shops, having to cross the roads

I love my experience staying at Holiday Inn Express Kota Kinabalu. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a great choice of scent at the lobby. It was nicely perfumed. After I checked in, I was given a key card. To access the room, we need to tap the key card in the elevator card scanner. When I entered my room, it was squeaky clean and nicely scented. I had a great time staying at the hotel. Breakfast choices are excellent. The menu changes daily. Kudos to the hotel management and staff for providing the best to their guests.
