The business hotel is super new and located at the great location surrounded by groceries, banks, foods, and huge shopping centres. The staffs are extremely friendly and attend to all your needs The breakfast buffet is only okay. I would prefer eat out. However, the toilet stink so much that we can barely breathe when using it. The room also stink when the air conditioning is off.
A beautiful hotel with excellent friendly service. This new concept in Southeast Asia has the right elements to make its popularity throughout the region. Set in the city about 10 minutes walk to several popular eateries, it is convenient and within the hotel, it has a nice pool and bar set atop with a beautiful view of the mountains and sea where you can watch sunset. Breakfast has good variety and service was warm and friendly throughout. I also love the new bathrobe look which is younger and trendier. The key touch points of a good hotel are in place. Room is spacious and being new everything looked great. Highly recommended and I look forward to Hyatt centric’s future development in the region
Great design and interior, well-managed, overall flow and service is excellent. As for F&B, personally think there is room for improvement. However, the environment and service completely makes up for that in my case. Wish the swimming pool would open until late, rather than just 6pm.
I very much enjoyed my recent stay at Hyattcentric. This new hotel had an opening special of which I was able to take advantage by booking direct for 3 nights: room upgrade & airport transportation. The hotel itself is lovely, rooms are well designed & bed comfortable. I particularly enjoyed breakfast on the top floor with a wonderful view looking out across the South China Sea. Fresh orange juice and a good selection of Asian and Western foods were included in the breakfast buffet. The bar & pool are rooftop & offer a great sunset view. The hotel has innovated with a number of community events; e.g. there were concerts & a display of local handicrafts at the lobby & one night there was a singer at the bar level which attracted a large & well heeled youthful local crowd. The hotel is across from the Jesselton Pier & a grab ride to pretty much anywhere in town seems to be an affordable 5 ringgits. A great base from which to discover Borneo!…
Very nice sea view and minimalist modern hotel design. surrounding with green area make it complete scenery for entire Kota Kinabalu. Facing with Suria Shopping mall make it easy to get variety of food and everything is within walking distance. Jetty to visit all islands under Tunku Abdul Rahman Park also close to hotel.
nice room but put also smoking room. breakfast was great but when i go to take food my table was sit by other people multiple times. so add a sign that the table is occupied. food and room overall great
An example of superior service only found in Asia and totally lacking in all western hotels.Sabah has a lot to offer in terms of fauna, primates, reefs, beaches, only to be spoilt by the large quantity of plastic pollution found in the bay adjacent to the town.
the pillows in the room smell musty. I have asked housekeeping to change the pillow twice, but it still smells musty. An unpleasant smell when sleeping causes an uncomfortable sleep. As for the food, there are some menus that I am not satisfied with. the meat is really sticky(liat busku like a rubber,1ˢᵗ time makan hotel 5star daging liat) and hard when chewed. for Malay food, fried anchovies are really salty. currypuff is not tasty and the skin is not soft. other confectionery, can be accepted.boleh la diterima..during breakfast on 2ⁿᵈ day,I already told the waiter about my comment for the food, but she didn't care about my comment like she didn't know what to do..so, it is necessary to be professional to answer customer comments
The location is second to none, views are spectacular whether sea view or mountain, rooms are tastefully finished with all amenities, without being cluttered or feeling busy - interior deco is again interesting and very tasteful - being a new hotel there were a few minor issues however these were addressed immediately by the staff and even follow up by the GM - so absolutely no complaints - we had a very early check out on the 13th Jan and the lady on front desk was exceptionally helpful and professional in every aspect - we return to KK in April and without doubt will be checking in to the Centric again
I am overall impressed by my staying experience in Hyatt Centric. The staff is very friendly and I like the design of the hotel that resembles nature and the staff uniforms are thoughtfully designed as well.
