We stayed here for three nights with a night away in the middle to go to climb mount kinabalu. The hotel happily looked after our luggage for us. Check in was simple and our rooms both times were spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet is good, especially the egg chef. However we thought breakfast went until 1030 and so after climbing...

We stayed in the palace hotel twice and really enjoyed our stay. Its a nice location away from the noise with a convenient free shuttle service to the centre of kk. The pool and fitness area are great. We were lucky to be upgraded the first time due to a administration error which they handled quickly and professionally, great service...

Check-in was friendly and simple and the lobby staff were very nice. The room was large, but very tired and worn. There were quite large gaps between the window and the walls and, as we had a room overlooking the pool and the trees, this was a little problematic - I'm quite a delicacy for bugs and skeeters. The breakfast...

We picked this hotel because it was near to the airport as we had a plane to catch the next morning. The room has modern furnishings but a bit small-ish. Walls are probably thin because we could hear what was going on in the room next to us and the hallways. Otherwise, very clean and the breakfast buffet is great....

We had an event in this place. While we were carrying instruments into the hotel, they want us to use their back lift and not their lobby, which was ok. But when asked for a trolley to carry the stuffs, their staff said that they don't have any. Even worse, their staff did not lift a finger or even to...

Based on my personal experience, this hotel is below expectation. Not very cooling air conditioner, toilet flush doesn't work well, television is way too small, no wifi available on the room. Should have choose the other hotel than this though but the location is pretty okay, will only choose this one again if there's no available hotel on kota kinabalu....

Let me clarify the title. Sometimes, the hotel lobby may not look anything nice, but the room is great. However, in this case of The Palace Hotel KK, while the lobby is modern, the Palace Suite is nothing like the lobby. Conventional, dirty, small and only 2 power plugs in the room. Come on? Whatever I have viewed on the...

When we arrived they put us in a room in the basement next to the function room. Our view was a car park and there was a very loud disco going on. We complained and they moved us to the fourth floor for about £40. The wifi wasn't working on our floor but the room was fine. Comfy bed, nice...

I stayed there for three nights. I stayed in the basement floor which means there is no window in your room. It would be better if I had windows, but I can't complain because it was the cheapest room in the hotel. Good thing was their facilities. There is a swimming pool, sports gym, restraint, and a karaoke bar. I...

Thank you for your comments pertaining to your recent stay with us.

The experience and comments you described has caused us deep concern. We would like to offer our sincere apologies for any frustrations that may have caused. The comments and suggestions have been carefully noted by our team and these have certainly raised concern that needs to be addressed and will inspire us to strive harder in servicing our hotel guests. However, allow us to share with you on our findings.

The standard room assigned for your stay from September 14 to 17, 2015 was Room 014 (Wing B) and yes, all our standard rooms are located at the basement. The dry spell and the weather lately have contributed to the indoor environment where we felt the air-conditioning could not even conquer the heat and are seemingly stuffy! To add the situation worsen, unfortunately, upon the day of your arrival, 01 of the compressor of air-conditioning unit at the walkway broke down on Sunday, September 13, 2015 evening. As this job requirement is catered by a appointed contractor who is waiting for a new parts to arrive, we totally agree that the walkway is stuffy especially when the corridor doors are closed at all times.

With our Duty Manager’s assistance, Addyzan immediately attended to your comment and you were moved to Room 001 (Wing A) upon your agreeable to the room inspection prior to moving. Addyzan apologized for not having the opportunity to inform you pertaining to the compressor’s shortfall. However, the compressor was changed on Monday evening itself and the air-conditioning is now up and operating smoothly.

Patrik, kindly rest assured that the comments received have been of value to us in order to provide the best possible standards to our guests at all times. We sincerely regret that you did not convey your disappointments immediately to our Reception Desk should the change of

room only is not ethical as our aim and intent is to ensure our team is totally customer-focused and all guest concerns and disappointments are handled quickly and efficiently.

We hope the above is in order and if we can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us know. Thank you.
