Kota Kinabalu is a great destination especially from Perth as Malaysia airlines flies twice a week direct . Airport is so close to the hotel and not far from the city central. Shopping and food in KK is great and very affordable Aussie barbecue and bar on the waterfront is a must to visit the owners are helpful with info...

Stayed at The Magellan for 3 nights to the weekend at a seaview room. The sprawling hotel is lovely, with nice pools, views and everything. Very busy too with loads of Asian, especially Korean, tourists staying. With so much space, I would have thought it opportune for the hotel to have more dining options, especially a Japanese or Korean restaurant,...

This hotel is lovely the chevron went with ease however if you have a disability and walking impairment the lift is a way from revrption making it awkward. That said the room was spacious and nice with lovely view. The several pools were good, however the lane pool was utilised not purely for swimming but recreational purposes making it difficult...

We stayed at the Pacific Sutera 3 nights early January. It is definitely not a 5-star, getting a bit oldie, the building itself is awful. Go to the sister Magellan instead, it looks much better (the lobby is amazing compared to Pacific, and the pool area is also much nicer). Staff is very kind and helpful, they gave us connecting...

Our first day at Pacific Sutera was not perfect. First impressions were ok, but we arrived at 11am, which meant the lobby was full of people checking out. Nonetheless, the atrium area is a pleasant place to sit and wait until your room is ready, though decoration could be more inviting. Our room was on the fifth or sixth floor...

We had attended a family wedding in KL so eleven of us spent a week in the Magellan section (resort). We all had rooms on the top floor (6th) overlooking the pool & the sea. The room was gigantic with a small balcony. The staff are extremely friendly & courteous but some could do with a bit more training. Breakfast...
