On arrival from the airport the friendly hotel staff was waiting to transport us to the hotel.
The hotel is located outside the city but within walking distance from the beach (20 min.) and some nice restaurants). The rooms are very modern and clean, one of the best we ended up in our stay in Malaysia. The rooms are small and have no balcony. They are cleaned often.
Staff is friendly, polite and helpfull. It''s very easy to take a cab to the centre and takes about 15 minutes and is not expensive, please only use taxi''s who turn their meter on!!!!
Tourist who use taxis who refuse are spoiling it for the rest! It''s illegal, just take another one, walk a few meters and try again. For just a couple of euro''s a day you have your transport.
Breakfast can be found at the back of the hotel, really good and cheap. We can highly recommend this hotel.

Within walking distance of KK airport. Really friendly staff. We paid RM115 for one night/three people (Family Room), which we considered a great price for a room with all the basics: in-room shower & toilet. Fantastically comfortable bed and no extra charge for free shuttle services from or to aiport eventhough at mindnight.

Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Friendly reminder: The hotel is with second floors and without lift (Almost other hotel nearby there also without lift). You can put your luggage in the luggage room.

Overall this was a very reasonable, no-frills hotel. We were picked up from the airport as a complimentary service - this always makes life easier (it would be a bit too far to walk with heavy baggage)! Make sure you ask for this when booking - there is no email address to contact the hotel and request this later (there is a phone number but our UK sims are very temperamental about making calls). Our greeting on arrival at the hotel could have been warmer but we had no problems as such. Room is basic but clean with the standard 'wetroom' bathroom. The Wifi was reasonable, if a little slow. We only stayed one night but the area is quiet and feels safe with a few restaurants nearby.

Booked through internet. Arrived in hotel at 5pm and was shocked to be told that the room I booked was not available. Given a smaller room with a ridiculously small window which was 2 meter above ground. The staffs were not friendly. Late check out was rejected and they wanted extra payment for that. No breakfast. As i was given the room on the ground floor near the reception, it was a noisy experience. The reception brought her child to work which I am not against but this proves to be a noisy experience for me as not the child who was making all the noise, it was the staff who was playing with the child. My recommendation, stay in Crown Borneo which is opposite. That is a better choice.

Friendly, Clean, Comfortable and within budget

Provided that I am not really a person to go on Trip Advisor just to write a review I must say I am very impress with this hotel hence, thats why I'm taking my time to write a review on them.

We arrived at the Airport around 12.10am, at that time of hour we were grateful that the hotel provided a pick-up and send off service to the airport for free. The receptionist were friendly and the first room we slept in the first night were a little small to fit the four of us but, that was our fault as we had last minute change of plans to recruit two more people on the trip. We requested for an extra bed but the room was too small so she switched us to another room on our second night there which, was bigger and enough to fit one additional mattress. There were no additional charges for the change of room besides charging us RM 30 only for the mattress. The TV there does have a thumb drive/USB slot so you can bring along your movies and just plug it in to watch.

There is 24 hours "mamak" food restaurant across the hotel which, is within walking distance. A small bakery which sells the softest bun. Recommended to try the Santinos Pizza just a bit further still within walking distance, try the pizza which has chicken and yogurt sauce. It's so delicious. Price wise is considered affordable and within our budget. A 24/7 convenience store called "Oranges" is right around the corner if you need to buy some necessities like toothbrush or chips and drinks.

The hotel does provide transportation to the town at MYR 25 as I remembered. A little pricey in my opinion. The hotel is situated close to the airport but far from town so it is not advisable to travel by foot if you wish to go to town.

Nice hotel. Free airport drop off and pick up. 2-3 mins drive from KK Terminal 2 (Air Asia). We made a last minute booking over the phone, and were able to get a nice aircon room. Room and bathroom was clean. Friendly staff. Good food courts nearby.

We stayed 3 nights here. The hotel rooms are clean and spacious. Bacis amenities provided such as water heater, towels, drinking water and most importantly the Wifi is working well in the ROOM. 30mins walk to the famous Tanjung Aru beach and 10mins drive to Terminal2 (free shuttle from the hotel) . There are a lot of local restaurants around the hotel.

We choosed to crash on this place before the notorious Airasia morning flight to Honkong. The hotel is conviniently located 8mins walk from the Airasia terminal, but no wories they have free airport transfer that works both ways.
The hotell staff were very friendly and helpfull. Room was large and veary clean, I was quite suprised actualy when I saw the room, very good for 1 star hotel!

The area where the hotel is located is a nice place to hang out for 1 day, there is a very good chinese restaurant near by with cheapest Tiger beer in town (4RM/can). And very good foot massage joint with super friendly staff.

Overal I would go here again. The place and area is nicer that KK downtown, prices are cheaper and airport is close by. If your doing the Mt. Kinabalu climb and have to stay in town for 1 to 2 nights this is the best place to do it.

Pros:
+ Friendly staff
+ Excelent room quality/value
+ FREE airport pickup/transfer service (just say when to reception)
+ nice quiet area to hang out for day or two
+ Prices in the area are MUCH cheaper than in downtown KK

Cons:
- far away from Downtown. (Taxi to KK downtown 20RM one way)

Located in a small town near airport, with convenient stores and restaurants within walking distance. This hotel provides free transportation to and from airport even in midnight or early morning. Simple and clean rooms, value for money if you just plan for short stay for overnight flight transit.

Check-in very smooth. Reception are friendly. Booked room for late flight departure. Room is affordable. Choose room at ground floor so easy to bring luggage. No need to take staircase. Location easy access. 2-3 minutes drive to the Tanjung Aru Beach. There is also 3 small and budget hotels nearby. Easy to find food for breakfast, lunch and dinner (Mamak Restaurant, Chinese Restaurant & Malay Restaurant available). There is Orange Shop similar to 7 Eleven convenient store where you can buy things. Small wet market and others mini market nearby. The most important thing, you do not have to worry for transportation to or from airport. Hotel provide free shuttle but you need to reconfirm with the hotel your pick up time so that driver will be ready to pick you up by the time mentioned.
