Stayed in the family room, which was very large and could easily accommodate 5 adults. Location:- 1. It is connected to the Suria Shopping Mall, which makes it extremely convenient especially for eating, as there are many eateries in the mall. 2. The Jesselton Point where the jetty to the Islands are located, is only 5 minutes walk from the Hotel. 3. The Filipino market is a nice 1km walk along the sea front The breakfast at Rosea Cafe was great, with a lot of choices. The swimming pool, though small, was fantastic, with nice views of the sea, and also the cafe at the pool served good food as well. I was very pleased overall, and will definitely return one day, and also recommend to friends. However, I didnt give a 5 star rating because of 2 issues:- 1. The toiletries (shampoo, bodywash) were insufficient for the 5 days we stayed, and were not replenished daily. Housekeeping should be more alert on this. 2. The staff manning the egg counter at Rosea Cafe, though efficient in her work, hardly smiled and looked as if the guests were troubling her with the requests for the eggs. She should be more customer-centric and serve with a smile. Minor comments, but these are worth taking note of.

Great location. Perfect room. Very clean and comfortable. Surprisingly, the room unexpectedly spacious. It is very worth the value. Good scenery at the rooftop bar although it is not very big. Will come again. Highly recommended.

Great view from room - can see sea and Island just from the wall size window. Staff is courteous and polite. Overall a pleasant experience. Rooftop bar sky blue offers nice drinks with a beautiful view. Hotel charges 10 Ringitt for the car parking, request hotel to give this facility included in the room rent for the hotel guests.

Receptionists were friendly and helpful. The room was alright with a few obvious wear and tear. Quite mouldy in the bathroom. The 4 stars are mostly for the amazing spread at breakfast and dinner. The location is good too as it's connected to Suria Sabah Mall and right next to Jesselton Mall.

the hotel located connected to suria mall, KK. walking distance to jesselton jety and not so far to Pasar Filipin. The room quiet big, with good bedsheet, light and fully provided basic needs like iron, hair dryer, iron board etc. They also provided a working table with a long sofa. they offer quiet lots choices for BF, but the menu almost the same for 2 days. overall the food was ok. not really good but not bad. the other good thing is, they have roof top restaurant, so u can eat while wait for the sunset.

Our family have truly enjoyed our stay here. Location is central and next to Suria Shopping Mall and is about 5 mins walk to Jesselton jetty to board the boats to the the beautiful islands of Sabah. The rooms are big, clean, comfortable and we have a partial view of the sea and the city. Enjoyed the night at Sky Blu Bar with many sips of the good mocktail! We hope to be back here again. Highly recommended if you are looking for a great hotel in KK.

Hotel Grandis , just remember this name for the best hotel in Kota Kinabalu. I have stayed for 12 days, work@holidays at this hotel. they have very good promotions for long stays. Stepping through the lobby, i was immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly reception area. Light, airy and very spacious...very welcoming atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeting and smiling to us. The breakfasts were amazing. The location of the hotel is great. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the tourists who want to go to Kota Kinabalu. It is also next to Jeselton ferry ride station. Will be back to this place soon..!!!

The rooms are spacious and well equipped including iron & ironing board but the walls is bit thin as sometimes you can the next room. Staff are freindly especially the front desk. It is conveniently located within walking distance to malls, food centres and waterfront. If you drive, parking can be a bit of a problem. We came back to the hotel late and parking area is full, we have to park at the side of the mall which is a security concerned. Request for queen bed but unfortunately none available, have to make do with a twin bed room. Overall its was a pleasant stay.

Dear SyedOz, Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your review. I am pleased that you had enjoyed your stay with us. We are very thankful that our guests are travelling again and we are just happy to be able to serve. Being in the city center gives us the advantage of proximity to all major attractions and the convenience. This no doubt will raise the parking problem which is prevalent in any major cities in the world. We look forward to welcome you back again. Wishing you all the best. Thanks & regards, Michael

One of my worst hotel stays was at the Grandis Hotel Kota Kinabalu. The timing wasn’t the best either, after endemic hotel seem fully book and back to back i understand. Even this is my first time and first experience check in 4pm but get the room key 8.20pm. I have call 12pm to let receptionist about my arrival time of coz I did my request with seaview room booking through synexis and I pay for Rm140 superior and upgrade to Deluxe studio additional want me pay RM195 per night but what I have with my upgrade room licking in bathroom and 2 sius head at study table not working I did make my complaints but no fix or and action from any maintenance. I felt so disappointed, but the worst thing experience from hotel staff. when the senior reception told my brother her sister so demand for room need same floor so u guy have to wait until 8pm???? for me that no right telling your customer like that. It is rude way I am paying for the room that why we book your hotel with facilities we want. it hurt me with the word that u have mention to my bro. with all this incident, I can't blame anyone but I am sharing hope you guy be prepare if wanna stay here as a customer u guy need to be prepare facing same thing like me . I hope management can relook back your staff behaviour. my total stay revenue RM950 spending in your hotel what I want is my family to enjoy stay but not the worst memory you give me and ruin my day. for you maybe my revenue it not worth you might find other customer to replace like us. but remember there is always circle back to you. am sure you might not want experience something like me this the worst keamatan years I spend in your hotel.

Dear MingMing1994, Thank you for sharing your review. I am sorry that you had encountered problems and did not enjoy your stay with us. I am happy that we are facing high occupancy but disappointed that we could not handle your complaints efficiently. I am not sure why you are dissatisfied with the hotel location. We have been rated consistently being convenient and centrally located in town. Easily accessed to the mall which makes us a top choice for many travelers. After two years of pandemic, we are all eager to serve our guests. We have enforced on our training and upgrade our products and facilities. Thank you for your feedbacks and we will surely improve. Thanks & regards, Michael
