Bad receptionist lady. Weird place. Haunted. Stayed for 2 nights. 1st night is worse. Being "disturbed" by dunno what. Day 2 not bad but the electricity went out about 4am in the morning. Strange things happen. Strongly recommended to stay not more than 1 day. Had a bad feeling since check in but me & fiancé doesn't wnt to be...

Not a bad hotel, great view from the balcony in our room. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and there was free internet. The food was also very good and it made for a very enjoyable hotel experience. Would recommend to anyone visiting Mt Kinabalu.

Out of desperation on last minute walked in to ask if there is a room available to accommodate 3 of us. We were quoted rm240 for the room with 1 queen & 1 single bed. But the place was so rundown i was feeling hesitant to take it. The place smells damp and dirty with dead insects & droppings. We...

We stay at this hotel in April 2015 and found the hotel to be rather old. We were first shown a room with 2 single beds, the room had a bad smell so we asked for another room. This room has old carpets, bathroom was not too clean and the gas hot shower was almost not able to be used....

If you are your average Tripadvisor reader - meaning you are trying to find a decent place to sleep - you will not be happy here. I've never written a review that was a litany of complaints, so I will make this brief. This place is what we would call "icky." Not clean, room with minimal furnishings, mouse droppings visible...

The whole mt kinabalu area is full of lodges along the highway. we were attracted to this one because of the landscaping along the highway and the great views of the mountain. The place is a mediation center also and you can feel a calmness about it as soon as you arrive. They don't actively go after hotel guests so...

Only one power point high on wall for TV so if you want power you cant have TV on. We were the only people in the place and at 9.30pm all staff were gone and the place...

Pros: portly owner who drives cayenne/rover looks down on guests as nuisance peasants to be rid of. Plus: Tripadvsor reviews are so poor that you can be assured of a room here when elsewhere all full :-D. Try bring an air filter / purifier because the carpet chemical pong is high

It is basic and that's the way i sum it up for this hotel. Booked thru the agent and was hoping for the better. But again...it is 2000m in the mountain so just need to put up the right expectation. Receptionist is no no...i don't say rude but service just non existence...nothing...nothing at all!! Room was simple...Lower your expectation if...

We stayed at Kinabalu Rose Cabin, great views but basic amenities. A wet carpet odour greeted us in the passageway. The room that we had, has a heater problem. The temperature cannot be adjusted, the water was very hot. We use a pail to mix the water . There was a power tripped at the most crucial moment when we...
