DONT I came with husband and friends, when we arrived, the front staff was confused regarding our bookings. (We stucked about 30minutes in here. the reason they got confused is because they cant reach their own system - it is not our problem) many ants on the table and toilets. my peace sleep was disturbed by a power trip electricity...

My friend and I stayed in this hotel for one night. The location was very good- quick walk into town and the harbour side and about 15minutes drive from the airport. However we were quite shocked by how rude the staff were as everywhere else we stayed in Sabah was very friendly. When the lady at reception handed us our...

When stepping outside the hotel, you will encounter some smelly & shady surroundings. The view was probably the worst I've ever seen outside a hotel window. Electricity went off 1-2 times per day for several minutes. However, the staff was very polite and helpful with that. Thumbs up for the extremely considerate and thoughtful attitude of the girls at the...

We stayed here for 10 days. The place was OK, probably the best for the money in Kota Kinabalu. Very centrally located, easy walk all round the town. Close to good eatery (Mustafa Maju) and to shopping centre. Hotel is clean, though showing it's age. Staff very friendly, obliging and helpful. No hot water in the showers. Only 7 TV...

A run down hotel, needs some improvement but staff were nice enough to me. This is not in the center so be prepared for a hike/walk across two main roads to eventually get to the centre and water side. small KFC on the corner of road, a few Indian/Malay eateries open in the around the back street/lanes nearby.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good location. Rooms fine with good beds. TV unwatchable. WIFI is only just ok. Biggest issue was no hot water in the mornings. Air con great, but next doors was very noisy.

The hotel room was not nice, bearable though. The staff are so-so. Not too helpful, not at all bad. The location was okay. It is a budget hotel so the amenities and hotel accommodation are likewise "budget". The elevator was horrible, it closes too fast and it was too small. I won't say I would recommend this hotel.

Hopefully it will be better when the refurb is finished, we stayed 4 nights in an older room. Most of the time the wifi didn't work - NB, it wasn't just slow, it didn't work at all. TV didn't really work - there is one English channel but so much interference you can't watch it. That's actually a good thing...
