We stayed in two rooms, one of which was good but the other was very poor - cramped, dirty and in need of maintenance. This review reflects on both rooms, but would be quite different if we'd only stayed in one or the other. The good: - Beautiful common area, very relaxing and nice environment to spend time in -...

We spent four night at this place. It is close to the river front and therefore is a convenient location. We booked a double room but were given a triple room for the same price. This is a budget hotel, the rooms are a bit run down with ants crawling in the bathroom. The towels were worn out and fraying...

The location of the hotel is opposite the Kuching Waterfront. We used cab from the santok market to go there. He didn't send us direct to the hotel but this place quite easy to find. The place is the center to the shopping place. Strategic place. 10 minutes walk to Topspot seafood place. 5 minutes to go jetty to cross...

Nice old shophouse from the colonial times, in the heart of the city. Very kind and helpful staff. Breakfast: toast, butter and jam. Very small rooms with loud air conditioning. If your room is close to the atrium in the middle, it is very noisy, not for those who need silence for sleeping. Ideal for backpackers.

Strategic location, friendly staff and good for value. We stayed in the family room for 2 nights. The room has ac, tv and hot shower which is why it is superb for the price that we pay for 3 persons (we were on tight budget). Plus the lodge provides free and fast wifi. Staff are friendly, just ask anything for...

We enjoyed most everything about our stay here. The location the friendly staff the basic but comfortable ("Deluxe") room. The fact that the WiFi worked well in our room and we had a window to open. Only real negative is the free breakfast is just bread and spread but just around the block there are some cheap breakfast options in...

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in January. Our first trip to Kuching. The location was excellent, close to merdeka shopping centre which housed a supermarket and money changer. Close to James Brooke Bistro where we enjoyed people watching and a meal or a drink. The staff were so helpful and very polite. The hotel is an...

Hotel and rooms were very rustic but clean and comfortable with a charming, native Borneo decor. The receptionist was very friendly and hospitable throughout our stay. Upon our arrival he let us view each available room so we could decide on which room we liked best. He held the room we liked most and offered to store our unnecessary luggage...

Bonjour bonjour - we had a great stay at the waterfront lodge, the overall aesthetic and vibe is great, lots of character and interesting art and antiques (we really liked the racy painting of the lady in white down stairs!) - it's mainly local wood carvings and tribal stuff which is super cool. Our first room was super nice but...

Amazing value. Delightful decor, Best location in the central waterfront area, large rooms with comfortable beds, neat bathroom, AC, wi fi in room, Not all rooms have windows but those that do are great. Free cold water dispenser and kitchen for DIY breakfast and tea/coffee.
