Hotel is located about a 10-minute walk from the waterfront and near shops and restaurants. The room was not very clean and needed to be updated. Part of the bathroom door had rotted, for example, and there were a few small cockroaches. Towels, soap, shampoo packets, glasses, water boiler, flip flops, and tv provided. Nasi lemak, boiled eggs, and bread for the free breakfast with hot tea and coffee.

Had a chance to stay for 1 night due to non availability at Grand Continental Hotel. The room is just fine with basic amenities, its clean and look okay. However washrooms are not in best condition and really requires make-over. However since its a budget hotel I believe one can manage with such shortcomings.

Breakfast is not the one you expect even in budget hotel, very few varieties that too not well prepared. Seats too were limited.

This was our second time at this hotel, from Theresa at the front desk, to Mr Wong the director, we were treated like long lost relatives. The room is old but adequate, it is clean, bathroom is good, rain showerheads, good TV, breakfast is adequate, location is great as we like to walk before and after dinner. Laundry around the corner, Irene's massage room down the road, all in all excellent for our needs.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Supreme. We were hesitant at first as the hotel is set back off of the main road so seemed to be in a quiet location. However it was just a short walk from the riverside. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean with very comfy beds and the temperature of the aircon was perfect. Amazing for the price, they could charge quite a bit more and it would still be good value.

On the day we arrived (31Mar2014), We happened to meet the hotel owner (Mr Wong Ka Tiung), A nice person, easy going and great sense of humour, you can talk to him any issue about your room. The room is tidy and clean, except hair dryer was not available all the time. I'd like say thank you to the senior receptionist --Theresa, izemal (unsure the correct spelling) and another young boy at reception area too (sorry, I forgot his name, he stayed back just to give us the hair dryer, I was really appreciated), they are all very helpful, Guys, you have spirits of customer service, you have done the great job. Thank you, Mr wong, for briefly explaining the direction for tourist spots, and showing us the city views from the top of your hotel building.
There is one thing I was not very satisfied about room, I can easily hear the corridor noises from my room.

I went there last week with my family and we stayed there for 3 nights. The hotel is near to Kuching waterfront (300 metres, if i am not mistaken). Our room is a triple deluxe room and the room is big enough for three of us and maybe more than 3 persons can stay in that room (especially for those who want to travel with family). There is a hot shower, cable TV, hair dryer, mini bar fridge (sadly the mini bar in our room is not functioning) and free breakfast too.

From the outside the hotel looks pretty run down and old. But the service inside was really good. I was attended to immediately when I checked in. Thanks to Agoda Services, my needs was met with a clean room on a high floor with an early check-in. The front desk staffs were friendly and attentive.
The room was plain and simple. The beds were clean and the room was well lit. The bathroom was clean as well but it took a while to understand how to flush the toilet. There is no fridge in the room so do take note of this if you plan to buy items that you need to store in the fridge.
Hair Dryers and extra pillows was easily obtained from the front desk at no cost. Wireless was free and was available with no hiccups.

This is a really good and comfortable budget hotel.

We had an upper floor double - around £10ukp per night (room only) for 8 days in Kuching. All was fine - cool aircon, cleaned daily with hot shower and western bathroom. Tea & coffeee making facilities and 2 x water also. Lifts to all floors - friendly reception and WiFi. 26 RM from airport by taxi. 10 mins to front and all eateries - they do cheap food downstairs too and an attached Mini Mart are keenly priced. Great base at a good price! Recommended

There is free parking. They have a few limited or more precisely reserved parking slots. There is no security guard but the limited parking slots can be viewed from the reception area clearly. Meaning the receptionist can have a good view of the cars parked there. But there are only three slots . The other parking slots are not in full view or hidden completely. Just inform the receptionist if you need them to keep an eye on your car. They could advise you appropriately where it is safe to park the car.
