Our stay at Suri and Cameron was perfect! They both are lovely people with a great sense for hospitality and giving you a welcoming "at home like" feeling. The view from the house is spectacular and the house itself is stunning and very comfortable, too. They helped us so much with exploring the area and telling us about the sarawakian culture. We could not have wished for a better place to stay the first couple of nights during our Sarawak trip! Suri’s house is situated at the edge of the jungle, where you can go for walks or simply enjoy the views and the atmosphere from the terrace with the pool. Suri was the most welcoming host, providing us with care and giving us privacy at the same time. We really appreciated the arrangements you made for our numerous family (3 young kids, ages 7,5,5) and the lightness with which you shared your home with us. Really enjoyed the home cooked dinner the first night when we all could help with preparations and have a nice chat :) Thanks for organizing our trips - we had a great time kayaking and visiting the traditional village! To make it short - our family loved the stay in your beautiful home!

We stayed in Suri and Cameron's lovely house in early May 2018 and it was truly amazing! The house itself is absolutely gorgeous and so spacious and airy. All the furniture has a story or some kind of significance behind it which is fascinating to hear about. The pool is wonderful and perfect for cooling off in after kayaking or a jungle trek. It was the first time for my boyfriend and i to visit Borneo and it really couldn't have been better - Suri and Cameron went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Can't wait to go back someday!

To have a real taste of the Borneo's jungle without giving in on comfort, nicely designed rooms, a hint of luxury and homey feeling: stay at Boyan. Suri and Cameron are lovely people that welcome you like family, they know the region & jungle inside out and are happy to share every bite of it (even going into the jungle or taking you on a kaya trip). Suri prepares wonderful meals and even while being sick, went more than the extra mile for us. Their home is amazing: the views, the infinity pool, the art & decoration, the layout of the house being based on a traditional longhouse...We took home a lot of stories (of the beaten track), memories and a piece of Kuching in our heart. Thanks suri & Cameron, we look forward to stay at Boyan again!

We stayed with Suri and Cameron for 4 wonderful days in their beautiful house in the rainforest. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, excellent showers and fan / aircon. They provided water, towels and everything we needed. Suri is a mine of local information and helped us with planning visits and excursions. We also had a lovely evening preparing dinner with Cameron’s tilapia. The pool is stunning with views over the forest below and the limestone hills. There is plenty of parking, an airy lounge with local artifacts and beautiful artwork, and a fully equipped kitchen for breakfasting / teas and coffees.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again when we are next in Kuching.

We experienced nothing short of a perfect stay at Suri and Cameron's beautiful home set amidst the jungle close to the outskirts of Kuching and a short drive to Semengoh Nature Reserve. Suri collected us from the airport and showed us the best places to pick up provisions for our stay. This was our third time in Sarawak, but our first with our two year old daughter who we wanted to introduce to the unique cultures of Borneo. We could not have stayed with a better host, as Suri and Cameron both used to trek in the rainforest to stay at longhouses with the Dayak back in the day. Their knowledge and experience helped us to get more out of our stay than we imagined. The location is ideal for discovering some of the more off the beaten track parts of the region. We were very thankful for the use of their 4WD which allowed us to explore the area safely as it was still the rainy season. We loved our room which had ensuite shower room, ample storage, a double bed and a private balcony overlooking lush forest. Our daughter loved the outdoor swimming pool, with an unbeatable view of the jungle as it climbs over the limestone cliffs of a nearby mountain. With fruit, spices and herbs grown in the garden, food prepared by Suri is deliciously fresh. We were encouraged to use the BBQ which was a real treat and loved being able to contribute to the meals shared with other guests. All of whom were as enamoured with Boyan Heights as we were.

Brilliant, Suri was the best host, great cook and fantastic tour guide/ trip organizer. I arrived with no clear plan and Suri recommended me a range of activities such as Rainforest kayaking, jungle trekking to an incredible cave, long house visits, and a trip to see the Orangutan. I had one meal at Boyan heights were Suri prepared traditional food the second night Suri recommended a local restruant which was superb.
The house is beautiful architect designed home right in the rainforest, you can literally touch the trees from the house. A great infinity pool overlooks the forest which is alive with birds and small animals. Rooms are huge and every thing is so clean. You do not expect a property of this quality for this price as a Homestay. I could not recommend this place more as a base to explore the Kuching area

We really enjoyed our stay at Boyan Heights! The property sits in a jungle clearing elevated on the hillside facing a stunning granite mountain. The property design is based on a traditional Dayak long house but with all the western conveniences for a peaceful & luxurious stay. The centre piece is a large open deck area with an infinity pool facing the jungle & mountain. Hosts Suriana & Cameron provide a friendly welcome combined with excellent local knowledge & insight. The feeling of being at one with nature surrounds you; from the exotic bird life, through the jungle walks around the property, to the Kampung (free range) chickens on the hillside. We loved every second of our 3 night stay here ! A truly beautiful house with infinity pool, right in the jungle ! Suri, the owner, was so friendly and nice to us. She made us veel so welcome. We had a beautiful, big room, with a terras and jungle view. What more can you wish for ?

Genuinely can't put in to words how nice this place is. Suri (host) is one of the most amazing people you will ever meet. She made us feel part of her family rather than a guest. Her home is spectacular.. honestly you have to see it to believe it. The pool, the room, the area, the service. Incredible.
