Great locstion. Can walk yo most tourist places in the city. Lots if street food and restaurants around the corner. I recommend eating in the hotel as food was hot and tasty and affordable.
All staff from Reception yo restaurant were extremely kind and helpful. I'd definitely stay there again.

The hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport and Kuching Sentral, it costs around 15RM one way with Grab. There is a 24hr laundry on the other side of the street, My Dobi, and costs 10RM to do a load. There is also a money exchange, Everrise Money Changer, about 5 minutes walking, and a grocery store by the money exchanger. The hotel is in great location that is 15-20 minutes walk to the busy areas. The room is clean and well maintained. It is not the newest hotel and could use some upkeep in some areas such as new caulking but overall the hotel is clean. I personally saw the staff wiping the curtains as best as they could as after a guest checked out. I would stay here again if I come by next time. The hotel does not offer car for the airport but easily to get by Grab Car.

We have stayed at The Lime Tree Hotel on 4 occasions and used it as a base for our stay in Sarawak.
We received a warm welcome from TEO on the reception desk when we checked in and were made to feel most welcome.
In fact all the reception staff were friendly.
The manager Julie was lovely and a regular presence in the reception area and was extremely helpful.
We had a 2 day trip to Bako, and it was lovely to return.
We then had a 3 day trip to Batang Ai and really appreciated returning here.
Finally we visited Tanjung Datu for 3 days and returned today. Great to be back.
Sadly this is our last stay before heading to Mulu and then Sabah.

We were able to leave our main luggage here when going on our Excursions to the National Parks. It was kept safely in storage until we returned.

The rooms were spacious, with a nice powerful shower to refresh ourselves.
If you ask, a fridge will be made available to you to keep your water nice and chilled.
The breakfast was very enjoyable with plenty of choice.
It is only a 15 minute walk from the waterfront, and has plenty of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk.
Best of all, it was incredibly good value.
You can pay significantly more to stay at The Waterfront, which is very grand, and has 5 reception staff and porters, but I suspect its far more impersonal.

I would prefer to return to this Hotel for any future visit.
It felt like a home from home.
I would highly recommend this Hotel.

I Stayed for 2 nights.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

I like the Delicious Local buffet breakfast served.
The signature fresh lime juice was well liked by me very much.
Great location, walking distance to riverfront.
I was impressed that there is a shelter for vehicle to drop off and pick up.
Overall, a great hotel for travellers.

I stayed at The LimeTree Hotel for 3 nights. My initial plan was to book a room at Pullman Hotel. However When I saw the 4.5 out of 5 rating for LimeTree with significantly lower room rates I was convinced The LimeTree Hotel was the better choice.
The hotel provides airport pick up/drop off which costs 15MYR which is very reasonable. The driver was on time and the check in process was very easy and the staff were friendly and provided me with useful information.
The moment I walked to my room I remembered the comments I read about how the hotel is overrated and my first impression was that those comments were actually right. While the room was tidy, big and clean, it looked pretty out of date and specially the bathroom looked like it needs a good renovation work.
The hotel offers breakfast which is simple but has a decent variety. The hotel has a roof top bar and restaurant which has a good food and drinks menu and more importantly has a very nice view of the city (highly recommended).
The hotel offers transportation to different to different tourist attractions (including the national parks) with very reasonable prices which is great given that there are not too many taxis in Kuching and some of the tours are expensive and don't offer much flexibility.
The location of the hotel is great. The Bars, food courts, shopping malls, cafes, the river all located within the walking distance from the hotel.
The thing that I liked the most about the LimeTree Hotel was how well the hotel is managed. The staff were very professional and tried to do their best to make sure I had a comfortable stay at the hotel. Small things like offering umbrella when it was raining or leaving notes under my door to ask what time I wanted them to make the room or having breakfast in a take away box ready for me before I checked out for my early morning flight.
Overall I think a rating of 4 out of 5 would be a fair rating for The LimeTree Hotel. Even though I did not like the room (because it looked old), I enjoyed the service of the hotel and the cleanness of the room. I think if I go back to Kuching I will probably stay at The LimeTree Hotel again.

We had the family room which is on level 3 right at the curved front of the building. A big main room and a smaller 2nd room with 2 single beds. Very comfortable, but a little noisy at night with a few boy racers roaring past (not the hotels fault). Excellent breakfast. My wife was sick with a very sore throat and the staff made her a special rice porridge which was very much appreciated. Both management and staff inquired how she was feeling several times during our stay. Has a nice restaurant downstairs and is also close to lots of local eateries. Lovely people, good food, good location, Very clean

Stopped here for a few days. Really enjoyed kuchin. I would recommend the food hall near the old court house. On 3rd floor they serve all different cuisines and it cost approx £2 per meal. The hotel is about 10 mins walk to the river and about 20 mins to centre. It is clean and basic. Staff are friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast is ok, small selection. The roof top bar is quite nice at happy hour from 4-8. Only real criticism is there is no pool. I would stop again.

Staying at this hotel on 19/8-21/8/2022 at Room 208. I did not expect much at first since this was my first experience staying here. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the receptionist in a very friendly manner and gestures. Check in was fast. The room smell so fresh and it gave me calming effects. I really love the smell. The setback is the washroom especially the toilet flushing system. You need to flush several times to let the waste go away. I hope the maintenance part will check it. Another setback was upon my check in, the room is not cleanly mopped. You can feel the dust on your feet and I believe this should not happen. The breakfast was simple. And I really enjoyed their laksa Sarawak broth on the first day. Overall, I love my stayhere. And I look forward to staying here again.

The Lime Tree hotel is based on a sustainability driven concept. The rooms are basic and clean. The breakfast albeit limited was sufficient. The staff were friendly and helped us organising a Kuching wetlands tour and taxi to Gunung Gading national park.

My husband and 1 had 3 short stays at the Lime Tree between side trips in Sarawak. We found the staff extremely professional and helpful. There was no problem storing a suitcase while we were away. Its a good location - close to riverfront and restaurants. We were in the executive delux - nothing fancy but everything we needed, clean and quiet. Breakfast was also a good mix of western and local. Would stay again.
