Hi, I was planning my trip bout few month ago , while I have decide to book for this hotel as my place to stay. My check in process was good as the staff very helpful and well explained bout my room and etc. From outside the building, I have seen the other tower several floor of the building was moldy with greenish. I wonder how old this building will be and what does the hotel management do to keep this hotel look pleasant from far. Apart from my expectation that building will have attraction as previous I believe this building never be this shabby, empty and look creepy, NO mini shop available, with lousy parking system that we need go to lobby to scan our parking card as we leave every time. After took my room key , I need to scan my card at the lift to go my room. All the way to my room, the corridor have musty smell. maybe from the carpet. As I enter my room, the room spacious. I check surrounding found out the toilet have this yellowish color on the toilet bowl & i try to flush the toilet still the yellowish stain not gone, the shower was hard to pull out plus hot water was not hot enough. I recheck my bed, pillow, blanket pretty good with comfy. The wallpaper was not glued properly kinda old fashioned. NOT attractive at all.. the view from my room so far good as river view. For the bath towel have few stained as I need to replace for new clean one. Happy with new replaceable clean towel. Staff apology for that. That's fine. Well, since my stay wasn't include with breakfast, I decided to order from room service or just go outside to town maybe. Air conditioner was cool enough to keep me cozy all night long. In future, I really hope that this property could be more attractive interior, entertainment with more shops and more choice of food. I have no complaint bout staff services as they do their job well to serve every guest needs yet large or low occupancy. Unique Swimming Pool shape is there . I have seen Pool Deck too but unsteady, I scare every step on wooden stair is fragile.. The view on the pool deck is very beautiful & please Keep the safety more as slippery when the floor is wet. Dear Property Owner, maybe this time you need to reconsidering what the best to keep your building more look clean, exclusive, from outside to attract more visitor to stay, do drastically renovation of facilities inside the room , get rid all the moldy from every side corner inside the bath room maybe get replaced , & most importance is PLEASE make the hotel alive with AWESOME Environment for Pleasant Stay in future. Your Hotel got the potential to be as great as other hotels in town as you could reconsidered. Thank You.…
A picture tells a thousand words. See and decide for yourselves. Dirty bed sheets, bathroom, carpet, shower area, window overlooking river etc Paid for three nights and after one night ran off. Never again. And as for breakfast, had to wait 20 minutes for two slices of bread! Enough said
Hock Lee looks shady and deserted from the outside. Connected to a near-empty shopping complex. My room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was simple, consist mostly of carbs like rice, noodles, curries, bread and cakes. My main gripe is the bath towels were old and worn.

I do love to travels to sarawak before and did stayed over at your M hotel everytime I came to visit my familly there M hotel is where I will landed with a beutifull memories.i had ask my wife whether is the same M HOTEL and she replies me with yes she is staying at the same HOTEL with a different brand of Name which is now is Hocklee hotel's that's was my relieve to hear that cos it's my favourites spot when everytimes I was in sarawak.And thank you on providing the wonderfull meals as requested due to my wife appetite changed you had done a perfect and comfortable for her stay with no stress while being on the quarentin.it is such great honoured. Hotel was incredibly run down as compared to my stay two years ago. Water pump broke during our stay and the management did nothing to compensate us for the following days in which we had to either not shower or shower in brown water. Disappointing experience overall.
when i come 1st to the check in counter, and one guy come later. i talk to the the girls at the counter, tat i wan to check in the room, but the counter girl didn't served me 1st, she served the guy...! why bcos i m not handsome guy? or not look like rich. So disappointed.
The room is nice, clean & tidy. Nothing can complain about the room, other than the plastic smell from the curtain. Food from cafe not bad, both breakfast and lunch. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet environment. The only concerns the the outside food, either you walk for 5-10mins but limited selection or you take grab car to have more selection of food.
First of all do not book through @Expedia at least 30% more expensive. Second this is like 1 star hotel, old with water stain, no toothbrush, no sandals, no wifi, lousy breakfast, unfriendly front desk. Will not be back again.
The good side; The room are clean. A very good wifi connection. The air conditioning are super cold(close to freezing) The whole Hotel / Lobby looks clean and well maintain. The check in are fast and with out fuss. Free parking. Good choice of TV channel, clean linens, amenities sufficient, Good view (Tower A) The bad side; First and foremost staff not friendly (the two ladies at the counter does not show happy face event though the check in are fast) no malaysian greeting. The room are not specious enough (we stayed in two queen bed) the room wall paper are showing sign of ageing with some section of the wall are being patch. The bath room door are without lock (we don't fancy that at all) the wash basin water flow are very slow, the underground car park are scary event week end. No concierge service the bell boy just look at guest carrying their own luggage and not aware of their surrounding. The acond control are not guest friendly, struggling to adjust the temp. the lift may need servicing, closing too fast.…
