Certificate of Excellence
A boutique homestay set in the jungle of Borneo Nanga Damai is run by me, Polycarp, so that I can enjoy sharing my home and its beautiful surroundings with guests from all over the world. You might also meet my daughter Ping and her partner Dario who are helping me to run the homestay during the summer months. Nanga Damai is a family home in a unique setting, made all the more enjoyable thanks to the pleasure of welcoming guests and enjoying their company. Nanga Damai has been open to guests since 2000, and in that time I have made lasting friendships with people from all corners of the world. You will also meet our two helpful housekeepers, our friendly dog and our three cats during your stay with us.

I don’t believe it’s wheelchair friendly. The property is located up a hill and depending on where you are staying in the property there will unfortunately be steps to manouvere.
