I’d like to thank Siti for her superb customer service and assistance throughout our 5D4N stay. She’s friendly and has been quick to handle our enquiries. The staff there were also very friendly and greeted us everyday with smile.

Rooms were clean, air-con was cold, and the wifi is fast plus it is located at a strategic location. Plenty of parking in front of the hotel but at night usually the parking bays are full but the hotel reserved a parking lot for us every night.

If i do go back to Kuching, i’ll definitely stay here again!

I was here in Feb 2015 with my wife and two under five boys. The hotel manager was excellent and to top it all, the food at the restaurant downstairs certainly more than matched what you can get on the outside, with very competitive pricing.

Will definitely stay here again. By the way, I am a local Sarawakian so certainly know my stuff around this part of Borneo.

We stayed in 3 (1queen and 1 single bed) rooms for 3 nights. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Very clean bathrooms with piping hot water. Only gripe with rooms - no fridge .. but not a big deal for us. Location is not good if you do not have your own transport, but we had a van rental so not a problem at all. Staff are not rude but not friendly either. May need a dose of the happy potion :) Overall, a satisfied guest.

We stayed here as our usual hotel was fully booked. Pleasantly surprised.

It is a small 3 floor hotel, however you will still require a room keycard to go up, which ensures a certain level of security.

My room was adequately sized and smelt fresh. The queen sized bed was comfortable with fresh linen and nice pillows. Tv channels on offer were local channels, many chinese channels, cctv, nickleodeon and NHK. There is a security box and hangers. There is tea and coffee and bottled water provided.

The bathroom is relatively spacious with hand held and a rain shower. Shower gel and shampoo in a dispenser; WC has a manual bidet. Hot water sometimes took a while to come in, but otherwise, nice and hot. A basic wall mounted hair dryer is provided too.

The air-conditioning of the room is sensitive and maintains the preferred temperature well. Also, it has a timer which was useful for me to programme it to go off just before getting up.

For a small hotel, the room has very good sound proofing. I hardly heard my neighbour, except for sometimes when I was in the bathroom when I could hear their tv. But otherwise, it was very quiet, which was nice.

Buffet breakfast had 3 local mains in the form of noodles/rice, soft boiled egg, fried egg, toast, tea/coffee and fruits/cake. The mains were very tasty, even by local standards. Adequate for a breakfast.

I can't comment about the location of the hotel becuase I had a local host who ferried me out for meals. However I did spot a coffee shop and massage place opposite. I was also told that there is a park with jogging and bicycle track/playground in walking distance.

i booked this hotel through airasiago two months ago. i booked three rooms for 5 persons cost around RM1600 for total 4 nights. I'm sure that the room i booked is already included with breakfast. but when i checked in, they said they never give breakfast package for online booking. if we want have breakfast, we should pay RM10 for each person and only get nasi lemak or fried rice and bread, not a buffet. that one very disappointing. the bellboy was nice but the receptionist was really annoying, no greeting at all.

cleanliness are good, really good actually. but the room is small.

the location is too far from tourist attraction. i need to walk around 30mnts more to go to the riverside. for moeslem, it's hard to find halal food. in Kuching, no taxi use their meter. so it's really expensive to go here and there from this hotel.

We are the returning customers of this D.B.H from New Zealand since year 2010. My partner and I lived in this hotel everytime we passed Sarawak.

The room been well maintained, clean and absolutely worth more than what we have paid. The cafe served very nice food and beverage as well, especially you can order a cuppa of Kiwi's Favourite- real and fresh brewed coffee when you are away from home! Absolutely FANTASTIC!!!

We are fortunate to meet and have a deep chat with the manager of this hotel, kind and lovely person. We will definitely back to this place again. Another home away from home, Dorset Boutique Hotel. Highly recommended!

we have stayed at this hotel twice and we have experienced a very poor service. The only thing good about this hotel is the cleanliness. All the staff should have a better trained. from first time we stay for 2nights until second time we stay for 1night we have not been given any greeting even from manager. overall, we are very disappointed with the service. (NO SMILE AND NO GREETING) you only can get smile or greeting if u are lucky. i don't think its worth it to pay the service charge in this hotel.

The room I stayed in was a smoking room at 2nd floor. It was wide, clean and cozy. The aircon worked well, the bed was soft and comfortable. There were complementary 2 medium-sized bottle of mineral water with set of coffee and tea. The bathroom was quite large and clean. Everything worked as expected. Breakfast, opened at 6am in the morning, was located on the ground floor with limited but decent selection of menu. Staffs were very helpful, check-in and check-out process was smooth and quick. I would certainly come here again!
