Stayed for 3 nights for a triple sharing room These are the pros in staying in this hotel 1. Lift facility is available. Easy to bring our luggage to our room. 2. Free wifi 3. Very spacious room for the room price. 4. Comfortable bed 5. Safety box and television are available in the room. 6. Location is good as it takes about 5 minutes walk to waterfront. 7. Slipper is provided to the guest 8. The hostel is very clean and has a spacious common area for guests to rest, read and watch tv. 9. There is extra pillow provided in the wardrobe. 10.Can drop our luggage at the lobby after checked out . 11. There is free coffee and tea for us to make with the kettle facility 12. Staff is friendly and able to assist us when we asked for information to Sarawak Cultural Village Disliked · What I think it can be improved further: 1. The pillow is very soft. I need to fold it to have a better and more comfortable sleep. 2. Although got window, there is no view in our triple room and the window is close to ceiling. 3. Limited tv channels to watch 4. A bit noisy that came from outside of the toilet at night…
Location wise is very strategic near to cat monument & walking distance to waterfront. While staying in Kuching, we have a chance to view Kuching Waterfront Festival 2022 Sarawak Regatta starting from 28 October till 06 November 2022. Staffs are friendly & attentive. Good value for money. Washroom is really very small, not too spacious & pipe at the sink need to have maintenance & water on the floor not flowing very well while bathing. I didn’t realise my booking not included with breakfast but it’s ok because we can find a few of eateries outside the hotel. Regards
At the heart of Kuching, just within walk to waterfront, food ,bussines and city landmark Kuching. Room is clean, WiFi available, guess from different nationalities. Staff are helpful when I ask for room service , would like to stay again & memorable stay. Thanks
We booked into this hotel based on travellers' good review. There is no ramp at the entrance to the hotel, a 5steps staircase to walk up to the lobby; with rain these tiled steps get slippery, a hazard to lug luggage up these steps. Hotel lobby is spacious, spotless and inviting. There is an in-house restaurant. Front-end staff are awesome, extremely helpful and courteous, excellent housekeeping service. They provided umbrellas for our use as it rained everyday. Hotel is within walking distance to the riverside promenade, restaurants across from hotel, hawkers of local food & shopping. Hallway to rooms are narrow. Our room is clean, small square footage of 2 single beds & narrow walk apace, no window & standing shower. While we were there 4nights, the third floor broken emergency fire exit door was left ajar. Nevertheless the clean room & good service would entice our return.…
We stayed for three nights and love the location. The service is also very on point. We stayed for one night then left for the resort and came back to the hotel where they gave us the same room. Thanks! plenty of food option and very near the waterfront. Especially like the Ayam penyet opposite the hotel. The famous Chong choon Sarawak laksa is just like 3min walk away. Behind the hotel is Padungan street where there’s lots of interesting Chinese eateries. One sells traditional bread and you must try the garlic bread.
Hotel is in a good location - plant of food outlets in all directions and a short stroll to the river walk. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking at basement level. We have received a free upgrade and we were able to keep the same room after a couple of days extension.
This little hotel was well situated in the centre of town. Everything we require (restaurants, riverside, shops) were all within 15 minutes walk away. The room itself was comfortable abeit a bit small and slightly outdated. We did have some issues with our air conditioning and key card not turning on the power but the staff was quick to rectify all of our issues.
Really impressed with their hospitality. Great front office. Ms Nisa was extremely helpful. Security were equally helpful. Bed was comfortable with good shower pressure. Will be back for sure. parking was provided.
The hallway from elevator to the room is small and scary looking, they might want to brighten the area (I stayed at level 3). It can be a bit daunting for a solo female traveller. TV had like less than 10 channels, don't expect variety. Very comfy bed, clean and spacious bathroom.
My partner & I chose this Hotel due to its location. The Hotel is conveniently located near the city centre. It was raining heavily when we arrived at the Hotel. There wasn’t any parking space infront of the Hotel. The van driver had to park at the side of the Hotel. The Hotel’s concierge helped to carry our luggage but did not escort us to the Hotel with an umbrella. Thus, we got a little wet from the rain. The registration was quick & we were shown to our room on the 3rd floor. I had a shocked of my life. The room was small but it was clean. There was no door to the wardrobe. I supposed it was an open wardrobe where you can see your clothes, coffee/tea making facilities, safe & mini fridge at one go. There is no window but an artificial one. The flat screen TV was wall-mounted & had some international channels but most were not clear. The mattress on the queen sized bed wasn’t comfortable. The only thing positive was its complimentary WiFi & a good size en-suite bathroom which was equipped with a rain shower & a hand-held one. Water pressure was good. But the bidet had a leak which wasn’t fixed. If you’re not going to stay much in the room, it’s a good Hotel to consider. Otherwise, look for others.…
