Kingwood is the first hotel I stayed in Kuching. I had a good experience in the Kingwood Sibu branch, but here in Kuching it is much smaller, almost like an inn-type lodging. This hotel is basic and sufficient for the average traveller. Just remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste as the hotel doesn't provide any! I have stayed on the First Floor during both visits, same level as the swimming pool. Do note the pool is quite small. The cafe is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast consist of either ala-carte (nasi lemak, fried noodles, porridge, western) or buffet depending on the occupancy rate. My favorite is the fish porridge. So fresh and hot!

Stayed three nights on business. Good WiFi, room and bathroom size large, clean. Basic toiletries. Breakfast also basic, small choice but adequate. Service staff fine. What was good was, personal choice, the corridors and room temperature was in mid twenties, so not cold. Ok for the price.

Me and my sibling went and stay there for a night as a gateway from hustle and bustle of the city. The room is basic and comfortable. The staffs are very helpful and attentive. The breakfast are ample and fulfilling. I forgotten my ear piece after checked out and asked for their assistance to retrieve it from the room. Thank you Kingwood Hotel Kuching.

This hotel is quite simple, clean n quite but parking r limited so its not satisfying. The facilities is not bad for me to stay just for sleep n shower. Recommended for backpackers which can stay 1room for 4pax with cheap price.

This hotel is quite simple and quiet. The facilities is great and the food that I order such as French fries is delicious. The swimming pool is small but its very clean but the parking lot is limited so its not satisfying.

Stayed 2 nights after checking from nearby hotel. Nothing much to complain about. Except for the parking. No dedicated parking for hotel guest and need to park using the council's parking coupon. Not available, then get ready to be slap with summon from the council authority. Room was great. Comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast is optional, and extra of RM10 should you need or want breakfast. Staff are friendly, easy to just walk for food, drinks and sort. Conclusion. Good place to stay with reasonable rate

Economical hotel to stay in Kuching. The rooms have been renovated and looks more exclusive and elegant including the room toilet. My booking was a breeze without much fuss and staff knowledgeable about their work. Maybe due to lack of staff or cost cutting, there was no bell boy around to carry my luggage. The restaurant also well maintained and much more presentable.....the breakfast is ok to the locals as many caters to the taste buds of locals. The Wi-Fi has also improved although it is a bit slow as compared to before. Had stay here on my occasions and good for relaxation. It is a bit away from the city center but I have friends who pick me up so, it was not a problem.

Visited Kingwood inn for a cousin's post wedding function and stayed there for one night. I gave four out of five because there's nothing much to complain coz everything is in order and without hassle. Definitely a good place to stay but for foreign traveler, the location is quite far from Kuching actual town centre.

Hi, I stay at Kingwood Inn Kuching on March 2015. the services goin well and nice. but the wi-fi hard to connect in the room, not like the connection at the lobby and resto. hope next time it will better. fallin' in love with the breakfast where I found great taste of snack at the hotel's resto, its was like Bak Pao but with smaller size, the color is red, with the sweet green beans/nut in it. may someone tell me what the name of the food is? and where i can find it in Kuching or any places in Malaysia or Indonesia? Thanks a lot for the help. :)

Very difficult to get wifi either in or out d hotel. The food for breakfast has not many choices & the most important thing is tasteless. I would never choose this place if I go to Kuching in my next vacation.
