We initially just booked three nights at the Traveller’s Homestay and were planning to scout the streets for something a little cheaper for the two more weeks we planned to stay. After two days at Moi’s (the host) Homestay however we realised that we we probably won’t find a place as cozy and welcoming as the Traveller’s Homestay. The included...

This homestay was everything we hoped for. Cosy, comfortable, clean, priced well and in a great location. Aircon, wifi, clean comfortable beds, hot shower -- we were so happy to stay here for five nights. Moi, our host, went out of her way to help us to organise trips, taxis, restaurants and everything else. We loved walking down the road...

We stayed here two (seperate) nights and really enjoyed it. 68 MYR for one night. Nice, small room and good shared toilets/showers. The host was really nice! She helped us with the search for public transport and everything else. We could also leave our bags when we went to Bako for one night.

Mei is a great host. Traveller Homestay is located at the edge of China town and almost all the sightseeing and restaurants are 15 - 20 minute walking distance away. The hotel is very clean and tidy, safe, staff is super friendly, AC works great. The lounge is nice and cozy. The environment is really nice and warm. We walked...

We stayed here for a total of 13 nights and we felt so at home, it's the best place we've stayed in 2 months of travelling Asia! Moi is just the sweetest lady ever. Nothing is too much trouble for her, she really took care of us and was so helpful with recommending us places to go/eat and booking a...

This little guesthouse is cozy and nice, Moi, the owner is the sweetest person, she really takes care about her guests and you can tell she is genuinely interested. The place is simple but really nicely furnished and a lot of care and attention is given to details. It has a colonial style with some Malaysian accent that make it...

My girlfriend and I booked into home stay for an initial two nights but ended up staying another three. Owned by a brother and sister who have converted their childhood home into this charming guesthouse. It's clean and full of character with the walls covered in pictures and many of the original features like the wooden staircase and open walls...

I was travelling for 4 weeks through Malaysia/Borneo and during my journey I didn't stay in a better place. Homestay Traveller is clean, well located, lovingly decorated, the breakfast was good and Moi and her brother as well as the other staff were very friendly and extremly helpful. I just can highly recommend this place!

This homestay is not outstanding from exterior, yes, on the ground floor, it's restaurant serving various chinese and malay cuisines, popular pork leg rice since 1858AD , oh so long. I arrived very late at Friday night, had to call the phone number for the owner to open to let me in. This family run business made me feel like...
