Value for money is the words I would use to describe this place. What I really like about the place is that they have decent hot water in the shower and the water pressure is acceptable. They have more Astro movie channels that most hotels that I have been. The only complaint I have is the firm bed. Too firm... More

I liked the hotel but I anticipate that people looking at the reviews could highly be tourist. While there was no complaint of the room - it was clean, had tea making facilities and the size was spacious enough. However this hotel is located at a distance from major tourist attraction. Other than 7E, you probably will need to go... More

It was somewhere past 11am, I just finish showered. I face a terribly embarrassing moments when I was all skin naked inside my room, suddenly my door were opened and the housekeeping pop in without knocking. I was awfully shocked and just jump into the bed and grab the sheet to blanket my body. I mean, why does she just... More

Good location, free shuttle provided to the airport and all the main shopping malls in kuching (spring, cityone, viva city mall). Rooms were clean. Loved the firm beds and soft pillows. Fast and reliable internet access. Buffet breakfast was good and tasty.

A bit out of the Kuching city but it is quiet and seductive for a good stay, as it is away from the main road. A decent hotel with a fair price as compare to some city hotels. Rooms presentable, nothing fancy as expected of a 5 star hotel for the price you pay. Most importantly, the hot water was... More

I was in Kuching for a mixture of business and pleasure and from a business perspective I was very happy with this hotel. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and a fridge. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful and there was a reasonable dinner menu in the restaurant. The downsides are that the internet... More

Stayed for a week as it was convenient to my place of work. Booked the room without breakfast as local coffee shops are within walking distance. Rooms are clean though I find the pillows a bit too high. Free shuttle service to nearby shopping malls and airport. Taxi hire is required for a trip to the city center. Bathroom comes... More

I'm looking for a place to inspire me and my novel - found it here in 56 Hotel - it's secluded from the main road if you're the not familiar with Kuching [or driving your own]. Room rate inclusive breakfast. The building located at Jalan Tun Jugah - behind Bank Islam, Hong Leong Bank, Celcom Blue Cube and 7E Store.... More

The room is big and comfortable bed, with clean sheet. Friendly and helpful staff, servicing with a smile. The premises is strategically located midway between Kuching International Airport and Kuching City Centre, with easy access to The Spring and City One Shopping Mall, food outlets and also government office at Simpang Tiga. The breakfast is just average. It can be... More
