For what you're paying, this hotel is very impressive. Good buffet spread for breakfast, good size rooms, good location (near the airport and since it's not smack in the city centre, you get to avoid the morning and evening rush hours). Plenty of restaurants in front of the hotel with ample parking space. But if you're looking for views of Kuching, this isn't the hotel for you.

The staff are friendly. Location of the hotel is somewhat hidden behind rows of shop. Centrally between KIA and City center. But that is ok, least it is quiet and not directly in front of the busy roads. Yes, the room I stayed was clean. Facing 2 other shoplots. And yes, it is quiet. Except nothing much to look at from the window. This room needed repairs. The ceiling showed signs of water leakage from the aircond unit. And the aircond. The rattling noise made me difficult to sleep. Manage to sleep only after I turned it off. Otherwise, good, clean and quiet hotel. Friendly staff. Not to forget, it is a walking distance away from food outlets, 7 eleven and ATMs.

Was here for a night over the weekend. Old hotel but decent and situated 5 mins’ car ride away from Vivacity Mall, 10-15 mins’ car ride away from Top Spot Seafood Food Court and about 5-10 mins’ car ride away from Kuching International Airport. Overall hotel staff is welcoming and check-in and check-out service was really fast and easy.

We spent less than 24 hours in 56 hotel on 28/4 - 29/4. It's alright for a 3 star. The walls are thin, we could hear neighbours using the bathroom. There are no toothbrushes provided and hairdryer is available upon request. Breakfast was included but we did not make use of it as friends came to take us out. Location wise, it's in between the airport and city.

This hotel is quiet and calm. Infront of the hotel has some shops where u can get 7-11 or guardian to buy daily goods easily. Is not far from city, just grab a car and u can reach city within 10 minutes if the traffic is smooth. If u check out early but u wish to have a space to load ur luggage, the friendly staff will help you with warming smile. I love to play pokemon go and 56 hotel is a pokemon gym! How wonderful. ^^

We specifically booked this hotel based on airport shuttle pick up. On the day the airport shuttle wan't operating, so not a good start. OK hotel for 1 night, fairly clean rooms. Far from city centre.
