We stayed for 3 nights. We had a rental car & the hotel is a convenient location for getting in & out of town with the car. However while the hotel website says onsite parking is provided, 3 different receptionists were very vague about where or if any parking was provided - fortunately some parking spaces available nearby which we risked clamping & tickets to use. We stayed in well laid out premium 2 bedroom apartment, though quite dated. Booking was for a king double & twin singles & rollaway bed but apartment had king double & queen double & we had to request the rollaway bed again at checkin. Overall good value for money but reception knowledge and service could be much better

We stayed in the Premium 2-Bedroom Apartment, and it's suits well for our family.
You getting a washing machine with a dryer, full kitchen equipment and large living room that you could put another 2 extra beds in it.
The rooms itself both are large and comfy, we had 1 King size bed and another room with 2 single beds. There are 2 bathrooms in this apartment.
The master bedroom is huge, but both rooms is spacious and good size.
I like the glass window covering the entire apartment, you could see the whole Kuching town, stunning view!
Staffs are very welcoming and helpful.
This apartment definitely is family stay!
Just 1 thing I would like to comment on the elevator (both for the main building and the hotel). It was a very frightening experience where me and my family were stuck for almost 5 minutes inside when the elevator supposedly going up but it suddenly just stop and then sliding down 2-3 floors down!
This is very unsafe condition and dangerous, and the elevator really need urgently be checked.
Overall, I love my stay in this apartment! Thank you for having us!

Overall, this hotel was good. Great location, was in walking distance of everything. we had real issues with the WIFI and ended up sitting in the corridor to get signal. the pool was awesome and our room was huge. the lifts and breakfast could do with an upgrade.

Suitable place for family trip who in budget. The bedroom is comfortable and huge. The apartment is near the heart of kuching city where traveller can reach just by walking. All necessities and food hunting easy to find around the StayInn Gateway.

The Hotel is located at a perfect place.. everything within walking distnce.. 60 - 200 M.
Food court, restaurants, bars, bistros, shops, banks, riverside walk, temple and taxi stand.
The room is really spacious.. clean and neat. No smell. washroom was clean..

We stayed for two nights at room 1103, very comfortable bed,high floor room with view facing famous top spot seafood in Kuching, good TV reception, room was clean only corridor a bit dusty due to renovation going on in front of our room. Reception counter at Level 4 of building with no assist staff.Informed by reception there is Gym, pool and suana at Level 16,complete facilities if you plan to chill and relax. Not much choice for breakfast but enough to fill your tummy (not for fussy person ya). Looking forward to come back again.

1.First night when we want to take a bath at the night after taking a long flight, we found out that the drain on the floor and the sink is blocked, we call the service to check it out, only the sink there fixed it but the drain on the floor is still blocked. We request to change the other room they said waiting for the next day to change, but there did nothing until we check out.
Even we have remind them on next day morning and afternoon when the cleaning people is come. they kept saying they will follow up but they not doing anything even we check out.
2. The bedsheet is not clean.. it got a little bit red colour n we didnt know what is that. Sound-proof is not good enough we can heard the people who cutting the nail or talking from next door. In addition, there is a connecting room, we can smell the smoke when next door smooking.
3.The lift is unsecure, and dangerous. We have 8 ppl and 1 baby to take a lift but the lift suddenly stop and going up n down between 4 and 5 floor. We push the ring in the lift nobody answer for 4-5min. After going out the lift safely, there just said there is too much people, but in the lift 's signboard have mention 10ppl and no more than 700kg, management shold correct the signboard if already know it cannot take more than 8ppl. or fixed thw lift probaly for your guest safety.
After the 2 days stay, we have no more stay at this unsecure hotel. This is not consider as a 4 star rating hotel. 2 or 2.5 star will be right in my opinion.
in total, not a value hotel and unpleasant stay.

We book this apartment through asiaroom and check in late afternoon on 6 Jan 2013. We stay only 1 night for short vacation with group of 9 person. The location is strategic. From our room at Level 15, we can see the Sarawak River and of course the Kuching town. For the lunch time, beside the apartment, located the Restaurant Warisan and for dinner, Top Spot food court also locared beside the apartment.

Definitely a great place to stay with families and friends! Reasonable rates and also well equipped apartment. Was impressed that that even have washer dryer and washing machine. Fully well equipped kitchen too. However their breakfast was really too simple.. Overall experience was still good!

It's an old hotel. Although the facilities were old there were clean.
Our room was in high level and has nice view. The room was quiet.
The staff were so polite and responsible.
The internet wasn't good at all. We have problem with connecting.
The air conditioning had leaking.
The breakfast was very normal.
It was suitable for locals. There wasn't any cheese or honey or fried egg.

So far no complained regarding that.
They share the lifts with the offices upstairs so during peak office hours u can wait for a while for one! Quicker to take the stairs down n avoid going back up in those hours unless u want to wLk back up the stairs!

We provide free WiFi in all the apartments and Superior rooms, however, there are limitation depending on usage capacity. The connection will be unstable on a high occupancy. We also provide a computer as an alternative at our Lobby.
