We stayed Treehouse 10 which is built so close to the sea shore. When the tide comes in the water is so close to the stilts of the treehouse and the sound of the waves breaking whilst you you lying in your king size bed is phenomenal, Our treehouse was large, clean with a comfortable bed and fresh linen. The views of the sunset and sunrise from the verandah of the treehouse are breathtaking with Mt Santubong in the distance. The jungle walk is tops. We were comfortable in out cabin as we are not fussy travellers and realise that this an eco lodge that is providing valuable employment to the locals as well as opportunities in tourism. The food was tasty and plentiful. It is not 5 star but the restaurant is clean with obliging and hardworking staff just as the reception and…
We were 40 pax in a company trip to this resort. Those who stay in the tree house got bitten by the bug in the room. The resort only provide soap and tower, no toothbrush and shampoo, toilet can hardly flush. No WiFi and mobile data at the cabin areas. Food is basic if you are not picky. The worst of all: the resort suppose to arrange the bus transport to take us to airport. We waited for 3 hours under the hot sun, mind you, it is 3 hours. The bus did not show up, the manager did not come up explain to the group, the staff acted innocent. We have to call our own Grabs to rush to airport before late for departure. Come on, what on earth a management can be running business like this. If only I can give no star.
Last week of June 2019, we had a teambuilding event in this resort. Reading the reviews about cleanliness and resort maintenance, I want to confirm it is 100% true that this resort is very, very dirty. Dust snowballed in the treehouse with spider webs at the side tables. Some of my colleagues complained about dust mites and bed bugs, most of them ended up with terrible itch and red spots. The bathroom and toilet condition is also bad, I wonder what was the housekeeping doing. Worst, on the day of checking out, the resort screwed up our travelling plan. The pre-arranged bus never turned up and the resort blamed the sales office and the bus driver (the same old crap of excuses!). All of us have to rush to the airport and almost missed our flights. If a resort does not take care of…
Pros: The resort has accesses to 2 beaches with great wide view and clean water. The Jungle Pool is clean and chilling. The cabin we stayed is surrounded by trees and there were nets at all windows to keep the insects away. The air is fresh and it is very clean along the way. You can hear insects sounds and see monkeys on trees. It was a good place to calm your mind. They offer service to send your luggage to and from your room to the reception counter. Would recommend this place for young adults and children. It is a bit difficult for my parents in their 60s to walk around because there are steep roads up and down. Cons: Need improvement on maintaining the cleanliness of the beds and bathrooms. The pillows have molds which we did not want to sleep on it. The bathroom walls…
Where to start. Check in nice polite young girl checked us in. Had to ask for someone to bring the cases. We was allocated tree house 3.we opened door to see a man stood there saying this was his room. The guy with the luggage just stood and smiled and used his radio to call reception who didn't know why he was there. So they sent another key for tree house 4.to be fair the guy had swapped tree house to be nearer his friends. Not an impressive start. Tree House 4. Steps slippy and steep. Mesh missing on some windows the windows wouldn't shut. Bathroom basic but OK not the cleanest room but it's a tree house in the rain forest.shower worked fine with hot water. Bed old but again OK. No furniture to unpack but most people only stay a night or two. Balcony old with two old chairs…
