The location is quite far from the busy center or city center, it takes 15-20 minutes to get to the tourist center in the waterfront area. There is a mall next to the hotel but the mall is no longer enthusiastic and quiet. Hotel prices are relatively cheap when compared to hotel prices in the waterfront area. The rooms are quite spacious, there are amenities available, lots of lighting, swimming pool, fitness center. The sauna and steam room are still under renovation (who knows how long). I stayed 3 nights in a deluxe room including breakfast, power room with city view. The mattress and pillows are soft and comfortable. The breakfast menu is varied but food refills are not very fast while there are quite a lot of guests. The taste of the food is quite good. Breakfast was until 10.30, but at 10 we were reminded that breakfast would soon be finished and we were invited to take food. The check-in process is quite complicated. I stayed 3 nights but was not given the convenience of early check-in. Even though on check out day I checked out early at 7 am. They are very strict with the check-in rule at 2 pm, there is no compensation at all. Even the receptionist is not very suitable for working in the hotel world (I forgot her name). This receptionist couldn't smile, his face was sour and unfriendly. Especially the female receptionist was the shortest of the receptionists on duty at that time, when I checked in on September 23 2023. Officers like this should not work at the front desk because they cannot work well serving guests. The bathroom is quite clean, the bathroom drainage is good so there is no stagnant water after you finish showering. Overall I recommend this hotel except for the receptionist who needs to be retrained. Or look for a more decent hotel in the waterfront area.

The room is spacious and clean. Location is a bit far from town and the mall attached to it has less than 50% occupancy rate. The bed is comfortable. I requested for a corner room but the added space cannot be utilised as there was a wooden platform about the size of 2mx2m and a wall in the middle of no where.

I would have rated it 4 stars had it not been for them pushing us to hurry during check out. We were 30 minutes over check out period, they called to remind us. Sent another person to check at the room and remind us to leave again within the time span of 5 minutes. We said we were leaving, they turned off the electricity while we were getting our stuff within 5 minutes.

I was going to leave Kuching and I wanted to make sure I had not leave anything behind and searching for my stuff in an unlit bathroom is not a pleasant experience.

I stayed here for a week, 4 days being the IRS Symposium and the rest re-familiarising myself with Kuching.
My room on the 15th floor had a wonderful view towards the mountains and the night lights were beautiful (I didn't close the curtains).
Showers were both fantastic pressure although temperature fluctuations were a little inconvenient. The bath was lovely after one particularly cold day in a training room when the air-conditioning was unable to be changed.
Buffet breakfasts were a very good mix of traditional Malaysian, fruits, and Western options.
Proximity to the Boulevard shopping mall was welcome, as otherwise the length of time to travel to the city proper would have been insurmountable during a lunch break (to buy a jacket to survive the training room!).
Overall though, a very enjoyable stay, and perfect for the purpose.

Overall a decent hotel room but nothing spectacular. The nearby mall is convenient as you can buy hygiene products and medicine at the pharmacy, emergency clothes and bags at the boulevard mall and some fast food option (not many but sufficient if you need a meal).

After my first night, it was quite clear the cleaner did not thoroughly clean as there were still stain in the bathtub, small sediments in the sink and the towels on the floor weren't replace (which according to the card in the toilet - towels on the floor will be cleaned and replaced). That being said, the second and third night, the cleanliness was much more acceptable so I will just say its a fluke/human error rather the hotel standard.

Spent 3 nights there and breakfast spread is the same for all three days. Not bad but also not good. If you know of a good breakfast place in the area, I will suggest skip the breakfast

I stay here for business purpose, and first impression is the room have spacious room not really big but not small! Affordable and reasonable.
I am not satisfy with wifi performance, as not really stable and sometime bandwidth will drop drastically. However, I'd like to give credit to IT manager, who really helpful to ensure I can connect my laptop to network using LAN cable.
Tips for you: the LAN port in the room is not plug and play, you may need to request to operator and the IT Manager will set up your computer.
I am not really comfortable with the noise from cooling tower, I still can hear the sound.

The hotel is nearby Kuching Airport. It is 4-star hotel with luxurious decorations at lobby. There is shopping mall attached with this hotel but not many halal food outlets in this mall. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The room is so spacious and nicely decorated. There was a bathtub in my room. The breakfast was nice with a lot of choices especially Laksa Sarawak. So nice. Honestly, I enjoyed staying at this hotel.

Hotel is connected with Boulevard mall which is very convenient if you want to shop for groceries or find something to eat. The mall is less crowded even during weekend but still acceptable. The hotel room is very clean and comfortable. For the overall, with the price paid, it is worth to stay here.

Honestly, I don't know about bus services. It's not that far to the city. Suggest you use Uber. Wish I can be of more help.

They have Uber but not that popular, as such you may not have as much cars there as in other cities. The cabs at the airport normally give out their name cards and mobile phone number, you should also get their numbers as sometimes you can make arrangements with them.

Hi Bernice, I'm not sure whether they have birthday party packages or not but we celebrated my grandmother's birthday there once. We booked a private room and chose our own menu. Service was good. Food was ok. Room was comfortable with ensuite bathroom. We were a group of about 20 people. Maybe you could email or call the hotel directly? Hope this helps!
