Dear all to whom are reading, I share this with the honesty as a person writing a review of hotel.

Check in this hotel yestersay late evening. I'm amazing by their services!

Yesterday, the hotel front desk called me and ask me what time will I be arriving, the tone of voice and the procedures and the apperance of voice really a sunshine! Excellent phone attitude! From this first imperession I rate their employee 10/10!

During time of arrival was late but their front desk employee, look so fresh! That's amazing. Look energetic! Friendly! They was they explain and inform you where's the lift and the security was friendly as well. ( of course have to be friendly to guest )

Now let's review the room. I stay std twin which was acceptable range of price with the room quality. The bed was comfortable. Washroom amenities was good.

The only set back was there's no sufficient power point. For my preference there should be additional 2 more power point in the room. Reason being so is we need to charge our daily communication toold ( mobile phone ) by the side of the bed. Unfortunately there's only one.
Lucky enough I bring a multiple USB port charger.

As for the washroom, the towel linen was good for this price range of hotel. And the washroom water tap didn't indicate which is hot and cold water. Should their management indicate? and I wander how good is their so call handicap room facilities.

Just a too small for me, overall satisfaction level 90% balance 10% is depending on personal interest.

Overall, highly recommend this hotel to all the tourist or visitor or business trip to stay here.

Remark! This is smoke free hotel. Need to get to the out door for a smoke.

And they should not place a smoking area infront of the lobby entrance, they should relocated it at a more eco friendly location. That's the bad news for smoker like myself.

Thats all reader.
Have a great day!

A brand new hotel but without the no so pleasant 'new smell' and hiccups of a new hotel. A standard room with all that I will need while away from home. Best part is I find everything at just the right places in the relatively small room. Someone had put real thoughts into transforming a relatively small space into a very comfortable, restful place with space! For the price (promotional or list price), the bed, linen and towels exceeded my expectation. Clean, fresh and comfortable place, and very conveniently located for access to good food and shops.

The most pleasant surprise during my one night stay has to be the hotel restaurant/cafe. It wasn't even officially open but I needed a place to work after checking out and something to eat. I check the place out at 11am. The head waiter showed me the temporary menu and I expressed that I wish to have a bowl of Sarawak Laksa, which wasn't on the lunch menu. He went to check with the chef but I told him not to worry, I will just have something else. On getting to the restaurant, the same waiter immediately ordered the Sarawak Laksa. When the bowl arrived at the table, it was one of the best presented Sarawak Laksa I have ever had, and the taste; excellent. I thanked and congratulated the chef. The price? You can not get a better deal anyway else!

Im very disappointed with this hotel and the manager,Vivian. This is because they are saying that the 2 of bath tower and 1 hand tower are not found after one hour we check out.they directly charge Rm160 to my credit card without my permission. I check all of my lugage but didn't found any tower of the hotel. The way that the management act is very dissappointed me. I feel that im being force to pay the money.

Dear Mrs Tang, First of all, thank you for your comment. As what we have spoken on the phone, we are aware of this issue. I would like to clarify that the decision to charge for the missing of the 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel was based the fact that we have searched the room thoroughly, recounted the laundry and review of CCTV on the person going in and out of the room numerous times. CCTV recordings showed that no bath towels were brought out during housekeeping session. For that reason, we have no option but to charge the missing items. Nonetheless we are more than happy to refund the full amount if by chance you manage to find those items. I sincerely apologize for the inconviences caused to you and I hope you can understand. Thank you. Best Regards, Livian

Our stay at this hotel was filled with one disappointment after the other! Having "Boutique" on their name is very deceiving, this hotel is no more than a Ibis type of hotel. On our arrival staff was unable to provide with any help for the arrangements I needed to do to explore the city the next day and never show any willing on doing that. On our last night, because of the extreme bad weather, we couldn't do any of the outdoor activities we wanted to do, so we request for a late check out (3pm!). Leon (?) manager in charge said I had to pay for an extra night despite the hotel was not full...

This hotel isn't bad, but it's not great. The things that are great about it are its location (walking distance to the Kuching city center), hot water/good water pressure in the shower, and it's pretty clean.

The negatives are that many things don't really work. For example the gym needs someone to turn the main power switch on before anything would work, and if the air conditioning is also turned on it trips the switch and you have to get someone to come and flip it on again. I finally figured out how to do this myself. The breakfast food selection is also very limited, and the restaurant/bar isn't very flexible in terms of service. For example you can't order laksa in the morning (stock not done) or in the afternoon (sorry we ran out and don't serve late afternoon). The walls are also really thin, so you can definitely hear the TV next door if someone cranked it up. I heard people talking very loudly and I had to call the front desk to get them to call the room to stop. The wifi worked intermittently.

But I guess all of this is Ok if you're on a tight budget.

The location is nice, near to Kuching city. I enjoyed the food. And here is strictly not allow to smoke. The price is affordable around RM 140-160 for a double bed room. The restaurant, THE PIPE provide such romantic atmosphere to let you have the dinner.

This is a very nice, modern boutique hotel, one of the best we stayed at in SE Asia. Room is big enough for two persons. We were also happy with the breakfast choices.
Seems a little away from waterfront and the centre, but for 5 days we always walked around the area. We only took Uber for the Sarawak Cultural Village and Semenggor Wildlife Center which are 20 something km away from the city.
