The park ranger at the Fairy cave recommended this Homestay to us. It's about 20 minutes west of the airport, a cute little Homestay in the forest. The rooms are spotless, with great food and outstanding service. The owner has worked with national parks for years and takes a real pleasure in showing tourists around and explaining the wonders of the Malasian forest. Highly recommended.

My organisation has organised ngiling tikai at Badul Homestay. We had wonderful time in dancing with the traditional instruments and we were served with local Dayak delicacies and tuak drinks. Recommended for those who love outdoors and nature and at the same time, experiencing local culture.

I know Sarawak well as I have stayed here for five months working on my master thesis analyzing tourism development around the Mulu National Park. Through this research project I met one of the owners who invited me to their homestay. Staying here provided me with another new wonderful experience in Sarawak as I was able to join the Gawai Dayak festival of a whole Bidayuh village (over 60 people) entity organized by Catherine. This was quite impressive. Hence, I can recommend this homestay as a great place to have an event organized. Whatever you have in mind an event or cultural or natural activities, you could get in contact with Catherine.

I arrived on 14th of jan for a night. They welcomed me in the most friendly way possible. The room was the cleanest I have ever seen and the facilities were top notch for such a simple homestay. the owner is a conservationist and has great knowledge on nature and shared it with an open heart. I learnt alot form this Bidayuh(tribe) family and the food was so amazing( fish from their own fish pond!)
There are activities suc has going to a waterfall, caving and trekking! :)
