First of all, let's get to the best part. The view of the sea was stunning. The pool was great as well. However, the room might need slight renovation or face-lift. Apart from that, me and my wife had a calm weekend.
A beautiful place to spend time with your loved ones.
It is literally next to the Sarawak Cultural Village so you can walk over.

This has to be one of the ugliest hotels I have even stayed at. It smells, is old, and way overpriced. In addition, the food is terrible. Stay away! The room looks like it was designed for the Brady Bunch in 1970 and has not...More
Stay at the sea view room with a main pool just infront of the balcony.
I feel no need to review the physical look of the amenities. It's been commended by many travellers.

I'd recommend you avoid this resort. It's in a very bad condition & the facilities extremely poorly maintained
I think the positive reviews on trip advisor are actually written by staff or someone thereof because the review goes from 1 to 5 stars. So it's rather strange!
Stay at Damai Beach Holiday Inn resort next door. It's been there for ages & has better pool & better beach access & better range of restaurants & cost the same!!

Depends on what you believe is "decent food". All the food we ate at the resort was well cooked, delicious and reasonably priced. There is a local food market we ate at one day about 600 metres from the resort. the food at the Cultural Village was also very Malaysian and we felt it was excellent. as Australians the chilies were overpowering occasionally. The mocktails servrd at the resort were our favourites and tried all of them.
