You read this because you read every other reviews. Most of them rave about the parking because it is close to the rooms and you think, that should not be the best feature of a hotel. And you are right. No hotel should get a point because the parking is really close but truth is, nothing else is there to say about this place. The pool is great but those are novelty. You can get the same experience at any camping spot near river. Ambiance? You mean the LOUD MUSIC? The loud music that makes you can't hear whatever the reception was trying to say? Room? The container box shtick will be fun for the first 3 minutes and then you'll notice how long your room is and how badly designed it is. The toilet should be smaller or the racks should be replaced by chairs or anything else. Oh, and whoever decided that the headboard should be literal screwed on steel pipes, please repent. The sound of steel scraping every time anyone moves on the bed will be annoying. Before you think of dirty thoughts, no you can't do anything on the beds, I don't know how but Dash Box got the smallest single size bed this side of civilian life. At least the army collapsible bed feels like it hugs you. Food is mediocre even for a hotel. Just don't get the Staycation package, not worth it. It says you may have "late check out at 3 PM (subject to availability)" - don't bother asking, it will never be available. You can even check in on Monday and there will always be "full house" tomorrow. It also says you can either have lunch or dinner. Breakfast was ok so I was excited for the box lunch of Nasi Ayam Penyet. This is where the hotel food comes in - instead of a full fledged 1/4 chicken like normal, Dash Box thought that chicken fillet would be better. Technically, fillet is more penyet but that's not in the spirit of Ayam Penyet, guy. And the last one in the staycation package "Unlimited welcome drink upon arrival" - its literally iced water next to the reception. Which brings me to my next point, your lobby is also badly designed. Don't rename your reception office. I don't need to be confused. You have your guards set a table next to whatever pun you have for dash and gift shop. Turns out they were giving out those wristbands for pool that no one uses. Then I turn right to see the container box for your reception. All around bad design. Lastly, remember the "good" parking people kept raving about? Make sure you don't get room 301 or 302 or 303 - one of you will have to park a bit further because of handicapped parking.…

Everything was good ,but it's not a same dashbox that I stayed previously. I'm waited at outside Mya kitchen almost 1 hour for get a dinner, unfortunately no one coming and asking ,FYI only 2 table at outside with 3 guest . The server serve the other table without approach me and bring the menu. I'm not comparing with bali and Langkawi but as brand products please monitor and keep a heads up Room Some area dirty with dust and blanket not tidy up as standard 3 star hotel. Towel torn and smelly.

room 514. overall the room good especially the bed soo comfy. my night for 2 weeks were very good. however, the cleanliness for the toilet was so so. the tile at the wall need scrubbing and the pipe for the sink was leaking when the sink full with water.

The accommodation is comfortable and the food in cafe is delicious. Nice stay. There's even swimming pool. Swimming pool consists of different water level, ranging from toddler to adult. Room service is every 2 days and good room service

The room is so dirty ! Check in at 3pm but there is a lot of coffee stain on the wall. Maybe the stain is from previous guest. You may see the picture that i attach for the coffee stain. And maybe housekeeping also dont change the bedsheet & linen 🤢. There is no towel as well. we need to call receptionist a few times to get the towel. At 5pm we get the towel. During that time my kids already all wet because of they play at the pool. The aircond is not cold at all, maybe because of hot weather outside. There is a lot of big ants inside the bathroom and on the coffee area. Only the pool and staff is good. The rest is all bad. Am i will come again? A big no. I paid rm266 for the studio Pool view and the room is so bad. not worth it.

This is my 3rd time check-in at dashbox hotel. A bit disappointed because cant get requesting room as a wish even came earlier for registration. Hopefully later can make loyalty programme for regular guest and keep a track those who regularly check-in here. I’d like to come here because my kids enjoyed with pool. Easy access from room to the pool.

The room is small for big family but quit nice since infront of swimming pools. The food is good and variety. Friendly staff and room is clean. Easy to parking, just infront of room only. Really enjoy staying here.

+ pool access directly from room (choose only studio be it garden or pool) + No inter connecting rooms but rooms are side by side (both king) if studio. Deluxe are above. + pool height range from 0.2m to 1.2m + carpark directly outside room + totally bang on kids having fun at the pool all day long (pool 7am to 10pm) + two slides - poorly maintain room (apart from bed) - location - only two towel given per room - not flexible in check in (strictly 3pm or close to it) - definitely not for couples only - music banging at 7plus am.. pity those sleepy heads

Huge mistake if u're gonna have a nice short vacay. Before entering the room we could smell Dettol right from the stairs. No in house phone. TV channel even worst! Room facing the pool. So noisy with the song played by the house dj. So loud! Annoying! Room quite dusty. Hideos interior. So ugly. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED!! 300++ per night comes with no breakfast is very expensive.
