A self serviced apartment hotel with very courteous and polite staff. The stay was very comfortable and facilities for meetings (except the HDMI cable :) was catered to need. The b'fast was adequate and the location and access to starling mall and the many restaurants was very convenient.
Great location, surrounded by tons of independent eateries. We stayed for 5 nights initially as a trial, went to Cameron’s for a couple, and returned for another 4. Will definitely be returning to this hotel. The mall right next door was very handy too, with a supermarket as well as other normal mall outlets.
Check in and check out was a breeze, reception always responsive and helpful. House keeping a bit short handed. But service recovery well coordinated. Though rooms had rubbish bins, Placement of large bins in service lift lobby would be great for disposal of larger trash bags etc vs having to leave it outside room doors. Odors in the hallways overnight can be avoided. The minor shortfalls did not overshadow the positive stay experience. And staff always ready to rectify/address any requests.
I was sleeping in the room, and suddenly the sound system started at 2.30am in the morning. The remote was placed at the table so there's no chance of me hitting the switch on button by mistake. I switch it off, but after 5 mins, it started again out of nowhere. It was so scary, i rushed to the reception at 2.45 in morning to look for help. Also, i asked them if someone visit my room daily to do cleaning in my absence, they didi had any proper records to check this. This was very scary for me to see the sound bar getting started out of nowhere by its own. I couldn't sleep that full night and the next day I was forced to change the room. I had to pack all my bags, wrap up my kitchenette and shift to another room. Very scary and pathetic experience with my stay and I don't recommend it at all. Thanks.…
This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. We usually stay at least 3 nights. The biggest issue with this hotel is cleanliness and housekeeping. The room is quite dusty, especially the ceiling fan. There is no housekeeping at all for our room throughout the stay despite numerous calls have been made. End up we called front desk to get us towel at least. Although they said housekeeping is from 9am to 5pm, I just couldn't figure out how they could miss our room. If they missed out on the first day, they should at least schedule the housekeeping early on the second day. No choice, we got to place the garbage outside our room, i guess it happened to others guests as well. Anyway, when we check out we complaint about the issue again, they admitted that they were short handed. I hope they could resolve this issue soon and train the housekeeping staffs well. Although there was daily housekeeping during my last visit, the staff did not do a thorough clean.…
Good location. Low service standard & cleanliness. Feel like staying in 2-3 stars hotel. As platinum member, no welcome gift/ drink offer. Very far different compare with others brand elite members. A lot need to be improved.
My birthday was on the 11th #neverforget. I didn't ask if my friends told the reception it was for a birthday because there were no complimentary cake. My friends booked a few rooms. My family had the 1 bedroom apartment. The toilet is huge, no tub, 2 towels, 1 hair towel, no face towel. The kitchenette is fully stocked with a full size fridge. They didn't really check their amenities so I didn't get bedroom slippers, bathrobes & pen. This is small matters but if they're not alert to this god knows what else they miss. Pool is by reservation as usual, because of Covid. which is great. You get the keycard from the reception. My kids gets the 7am slot which is fine but there was only 1 unused towels beside a pile of used towels. Breakfast will be sent to the room as per accordance to Covid SOP. They have a fixed menu. We had 2 sets of fried mee and guava juice. I will continue my review for the 2nd weekend in another post.…
The only downside is a bit dusty.... Might be been some times no occupancy using the room... Check in was fast, takes them only <10 min. Room view scenery was fabulous. Reception counter (Front Desk) is....A bit small. Very clean along the walkway, lift,
I like this place and will highly recommend it. Spacious, clean and good location. The kitchen is equipped with utensils, cutleries, pots and pans. I could just walk down to Starling Mall for convenient dining and groceries shopping.
Pros - great location, clean premises. Front desk staff were very helpful. Cons- low water pressure. The rain shower doesnt work because of insufficient water pressure. The normal shower works but water pressure still low.
