We a group of people about 5 adults 1 child, the first thing i want to mention is this hotel doesnt have a "LIFT"(this is what i over look when made the booking). We stayed at 3rd floor and we have one luggage about 20KG(luckily there was a male receptionist willing to help us carried it up to the 3rd floor on the check in day, and unlucky there was another female receptionist on shift the day we check out so we have to carried it down by ourselve). The environment very noisy which you can hear lots of car engine and horn sounds outside, that cant let you rest properly. This area (SS2) still have lots of other hotel around, which Hotel 99 looks good, we already booked for our next trip at Hotel 99. They do provide free wifi, the line is consider stable and good. There is no hair dryer in room, they do provide two mineral water, toilet paper, shower gel which stick on the wall, Tv on the wall, Air conditional and you can boil water as well. The room security not as good as we think, the housekeeper can suddenly open you room door with their master key card. After open then they say sorry, the reason was given is open wrong door... is this an unprofessional action can call "oh this is a budget hotel, what do you expect?" No, this is totally nothing related to budget hotel or what, this is totally unacceptable, because this is regarding personal privacy! I dont know they purposely enter and try to see if there is anyone in room or what. Just beware of your valuable things. Another thing i would like to mention is when we want to check out at 9 AM, the front desk receptionist went out to BUY things! Hello? there is no one ready at the front desk and she didnt bring her mobile phone along. We have to wait for her at least 30minutes, we actually rushing to airport after check out. How can this happen?? That is what my experience, you can judge or decide yourself when booking on this hotel.…
I stayed in a single room with no window. The room is quite clean, it has installed tv on the wall, hot/cold shower, towels and refill drink dispenser at the lobby. The hotel is located at the area with lots of food stalls, restaurants(Malay, chinese, japanese, indian, and etc), Convenient stores, food and body massage. There is actually a karaoke club beside the hotel so it is a little noisier at night.
It has everything you need in budget hotel. The room is small with no window, quite clean, it has installed tv on the wall, wifi, refill drink at the dispenser outside of the room, hot/cold shower, clean towels. The best part of this hotel is that it is located at the area with a lot of food stalls, number of variety restaurant (Indian, Malay, Indonesian, Chinese, Japanese), morning and night market, Convenient stores, salon, food and body massage.
I had to check in late that day, and the staff wasn't too friendly, probably had a bad day or some sort. The price is still acceptable as it is one of the "budget" hotels around this area. The room is ok, quite clean, but for the bathroom, it was really small. We didn't have any expectation as we know it is just a budget hotel. There is actually a karaoke club just beside the hotel, which makes it a little noisier at night, giving us some hard time to sleep. Luckily we were really tired, else some havoc would have took place.
Booked and stayed for 5 nights during CNY in this hotel. The first impression before stepping into our room, me and my wife was impressed with how clean this hotel was kept. We stayed in a room that was without windows, and it was a bit of a let down when there was a funny smell (it smelled like the room was not being aired for quite a while) when we opened the door. Nevertheless, the room was kept real clean and so was the washroom. There was also a TV set with a dressing table in the room. For the amount that I paid, really couldn't ask for more.
Rooms is a bit small but it is still acceptable for a budget standard hotel. However, the tv had a bit of colour problem. Other than that, The staff is quite friendly and polite. Recommended for those looking for budget accomodation in ss2.
pro 1. clean room 2. worth budget hotel price con: 1. small room 2. no wifi in room 3. no lift, so just make request not to get room in higher floor. 4. narrow walkway if just for sleep, then it is ok.
Our room was located at the 3rd floor without a window. The room was quite smelly but overall was clean. No water supply at night and all of us have to sleep without showering after a tiring event. Until the next morning the water pressure is very low and I actually experienced no water when i showered halfway. We complain to the receptionist upon check out. The only reply is "oh maybe the pump has spoiled". They did not even apologize. No next time for us. There's a lot of better budget hotel out there.
Looks good from outside. after check in, you need to walk upstairs so pls tell them in advance if u need lower level room. Toilet are small, Just enough to turn for a shower. I dont like the mirror facing my bed hence i used the towel to cover it. Room is clean and looks good as well. there is some annoying cracking sound at night which i cant pinpoint to what and where it comes from. pros : price is ok. cons : it is more to a motel actually.
Dirty sheets, lizards on the walls, no lift. No english speaking staff - needed to show pictures of the dirty sheets to understand what I'm talking about. I got King suite and it was like sleeping in the subway station.
