Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Comfortable. There's just no entertainment nearby. I found that the hotel next to me had a path leading to the stalls in the basement. The signboard can be seen opposite. The donuts are delicious and the uncle who makes the coffee is very friendly. The coffee is delicious too.

It’s been a while since I’m back at this hotel. I chose to stay here this time mainly because of the room rate around this area and I find that it is the best value.
Room is really spacious and it is clean. Nice bathroom and shower too which is nice. Location is not so good if you are not driving. When you walk out of the hotel there is really no shops around and you need to walk a distance to find places to eat. Nearby there is a restaurant but if you are looking for cheaper options then you need to walk maybe 15-20mins.
Staff at the check in and the lobby is alright nothing to complain but I think it could be better and can make you feel more welcome. When I stayed at a hotel I always look at the services from the hotel staff whether they greet you with a warm smile or not.
Overall for the price that I’m paying I think it is good value for money considering the big spacious and clean room.

Sipping Once, Sipping Twice, Sipping Chicken Soup With Rice
First off, the is a review on their food delivery and not their dine-in nor stay.
Service: Ordered via a third party app hence pretty straight forward and not much to comment on.
Packing: Given the price they were charging and the fact that they are not from one of the big hotel groups, we decided to lower our expectations a little. Hence when it arrived in a plastic bag and in quarantine-like plastic boxes, we were kind of half expecting it.
Hainanese Chicken Rice (Steam Chicken)(Rm 22)
Taste: The secret to Chicken Rice which tends to be overlooked by many lies in the rice. The fragrance should hit you like a speed train going at a hundred miles an hour the moment you open the box. In this case, the rice had a nice texture but a little light on flavour. The chicken was tender and delicious with garnishing aplenty.
All in all, at that price level and given the fact it was pretty delicious, it could have been better. But sure why not?

I recently stayed at Armada Hotel PJ for four nights and had an excellent experience. The room was impeccably clean, with fresh-smelling towels, bed sheets, pillows, and blankets. The chiller in the room worked perfectly, providing a cool and comfortable environment. The ambience in the corridor was also very pleasant.
Additionally, the hotel's pricing is very reasonable, making it a great value for money. Its convenient location near the LRT Asia Jaya station adds to its appeal. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean, affordable, and well-located place to stay in PJ.

Rooms are roomy and updated compared with some of the older hotels in the vicinity.
The buffets are good value and enjoyable with some vegetarian options.
Staff are hospitable, polite, attentive, helpful and friendly from the time we checked in till the end of our stay.
Note: Also joined their Green Carnival in October 2024. Had a great time which was the reason we chose to stay here.

To be honest, I'm suprised with their level of hospitality despite many competition. Buffet has many varieties, staff are very warm especially that one indian gentleman with the moustache, his hospitality was kind and would always look out for me and my wife. My stay at the Armada did not lack surprises! Famed for excellent hospitality service, most hotels in Malaysia boast about their top-class service even if there three star.
My experience started on a great note as I arrived at the hotel. The concierge Erwan and front desk staff Floera were excellent and provided top notch service. The room assigned to me was comfortable.
However, the endless disappointment started and never seemed to end with room service. It took us an hour to get clean towels, after exhaustive and frustrating calls and several visits to the front desk, just to get clean towels.
Furthermore, we had to get some laundry done and the staff was not sure about when we would get our clothes back. Upon checking with front desk, they could not find our laundry, which, however, eventually found its way back to us.
Wi-fi - where can I start? The non existing Wi-Fi was such a let down! The signal was so weak and it was beyond frustrating to get a good connection. One practically has to move to several parts of the room, just to get a little connectivity!
So, if you don't mind not getting towels, and wi-fi i guess the Armada is an ok place to stay.
The Armada falls short of its name and is definitely not a powerful or dynamic entity! As for me, I will not be going to the Armada again!

I think you can. But, drop by at the guest counter to check for more details. I've seen other guests tried that before because they were attending other conferences at other hotels.
Generally hotels will comply to the international check-in and check out time. However, if it is off peak, they might allow you to have an early check in.
I strongly advise that you communicate your needs / situation to the hotel.
