I've been frequenting Armada since right before MCO up until now. For me, this place is not only convenient but also clean and worth the money I pay. Generally most staffs are vrry cheerful. Only recently some newcomers maybe lack experience so checking in has become much slower. This is still my fav hotel
We stayed two nights at the hotel. The rooms were clean and although is very central location, we didn’t have any problems with noise. The location is very good. Near to a LRT station, The food is great and the staff are very helpful and service minded. We used the gym and all the equipments are working and the room is spacious. We enjoyed Hotel Armada and especially want to thank Diana, the admin manager of the hotel.
Stayed here for 1 night for weekend retreats. Check in prosess took almost 15 mins which is quite slow, staff is being helpful all the time but no eye contact or smile when talking to the guest. Hotel atmosphere is good and the room is also very comfortable & clean. Overall is a good stay, not that bad, just need to improve their customer service at the receiption will do.
Stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. Hotel was cheap and had decent reviews, central location in Petaling Jaya. Booked a twin room (New Deluxe) and ended up on the 19th floor. No highway noise and nice views of the city. £25 / 135MYR via 3rd party. We extended 1 night and walk in price for same room was £34 / 185MYR so book in advance. Room quality was nice and modern with good AC and spacious. It was letdown by a lack of cleaning standards - not a dealbreaker as it was nothing disgusting, but just obvious they are rushing to service the rooms. Towel had an old orange stain on it and some of the less obvious areas were not cleaned. E.g. under bathroom cabinet, higher than eye level shower walls, back of bathroom door, under the beds. Gym was very spacious however it is old equipment. Functional, but could do with a refresh. One treadmill was also not working. With so much space, I feel they could better equip the gym with even more machines however good enough for a few days working out. Staff are nice and friendly, efficient and kind. Free parking is a nice benefit although not the easiest to access with the one way system. Overall no major complaints. Good for a short stay. Did not eat here so unable to comment on room service or restaurants.…
Sipping Once, Sipping Twice, Sipping Chicken Soup With Rice First off, the is a review on their food delivery and not their dine-in nor stay. Service: Ordered via a third party app hence pretty straight forward and not much to comment on. Packing: Given the price they were charging and the fact that they are not from one of the big hotel groups, we decided to lower our expectations a little. Hence when it arrived in a plastic bag and in quarantine-like plastic boxes, we were kind of half expecting it. Hainanese Chicken Rice (Steam Chicken)(Rm 22) Taste: The secret to Chicken Rice which tends to be overlooked by many lies in the rice. The fragrance should hit you like a speed train going at a hundred miles an hour the moment you open the box. In this case, the rice had a nice texture but a little light on flavour. The chicken was tender and delicious with garnishing aplenty. All in all, at that price level and given the fact it was pretty delicious, it could have been better. But sure why not? It’s been a while since I’m back at this hotel. I chose to stay here this time mainly because of the room rate around this area and I find that it is the best value. Room is really spacious and it is clean. Nice bathroom and shower too which is nice. Location is not so good if you are not driving. When you walk out of the hotel there is really no shops around and you need to walk a distance to find places to eat. Nearby there is a restaurant but if you are looking for cheaper options then you need to walk maybe 15-20mins. Staff at the check in and the lobby is alright nothing to complain but I think it could be better and can make you feel more welcome. When I stayed at a hotel I always look at the services from the hotel staff whether they greet you with a warm smile or not. Overall for the price that I’m paying I think it is good value for money considering the big spacious and clean room. …
The location is convenient if you want to drive there. For exploring the nearby places on foot, not so as the hotel is located right beside the Federal Highway. The views from the higher floors are nice. The rooms are big and well maintained.
Celebrated Valentines at Utara Coffee house.. There was also a 4 course set dinner option but we choose the buffet option. There was no rose/chocolate for the ladies in the buffet option. but there was some effort to have heart shaped deserts. Driving there on a rainy Friday night was crazy. Roads badly jammed and we initially ended up on the wrong side of the one way road. Would recommend taking the LRT. There was a good spread of dishes. There were mostly local dishes. There was some western dishes like the roast lamb, beef roulade and pasta station. Food was tasty. Liked the durian roti canai. The blueberry kiss drink was good too. Service was mostly OK to clear the used dishes. Only the roti canai service was slow as the same person was making the pasta and satay too. Prices was very reasonable for the food offered. Might have the buffet again. …
We checked into the Hotel Armada for four days. The hotel is quite easy to get to as it is right beside the Federal Highway. However, due to Petaling Jaya’s one way roads, getting around close by areas by car will be tricky. The rooms were clean and while we took the executive suite and there was ample workspace, the room felt rather ordinary. The hotel is a walk away from the LRT so you can get to anywhere on the LRT line with ease. The closest mall is also just a walk away, in fact there are a few. We had a good stay and may consider a revisit.
Food was good, service average. Only one service staff took care of us. Function room was excellent. After 9 years I visited the hotel as j stayed there 2 nights in 2011. Big changed there but the signage s took me 15 minutes to reach hotel from the parking area.
